Aston Martin is known to have produced some very famous Bond vehicles over the years. They started in the film industry in 1964 and were able to produce a lot of memorable James Bond cars that became as well known as the films. When the trailer of the film debuted, the preview for the vehicle came later announced as a concept model. Not that it has been confirmed and received its release date as the model is finally coming to us as a production car.

Aston Martin designers call it a bespoke sports car and will be the next generation DB9 model that was previously unveiled. The model will perhaps be the most aggressive Aston Martin made in years. They made it this way to capture the nature of the films, which have become more serious and realistic along with the evolution of the character of 007, so the model will get a serious and aggressive styling that suits the character of James.

Aston Martin DB10 exterior view

The latest Aston Martin DB10 is a perfect example of what the company has decided to do and what design language it wants to incorporate for the future after the VH platform is retired. The model still remains a recognizable Aston Martin car, although it looks completely different by combining the new features with the trademark look of the old DB9 model. The model retains the sloping hood along with the signature large front grille at the front. It manages to innovate it by adding a lower air dam, resulting in a much more aggressive styling of the car.

The side profile of the Aston Martin DB10 shows much larger and bolder wheel arches that make for a clean look. Muscular shoulders combined with deep sculpted sills with carbon fiber side skirts make the car so memorable now and give it its latest styling. The front fenders have a deeper crease but the trademark air vent with upper chrome trim has been retained. The cabin is positioned lower giving the car a sleek styling as it has a smaller quarter glass area. The rear comes back with short rear overhang and slim taillights. The car also gives us a metallic gray paint job and some very unique 10-spoke wheels.

Aston Martin DB10 interior

The interior of the Aston Martin DB10 looks quite great. As expected, the car will use a bespoke cockpit and replace most of the styling cues from the DV9 model. The traditional centre stack has been completely removed and they have decided to offer a new type of model with the added amenities. The cabin looks much cleaner than anything else and manages to create a really slick looking James Bond model.

The instrument cluster actually has some race car details as it uses some larger gauges that feature a design with a center unit and two additional units on the side. The interior is fully upholstered in fine leather and stitched with white threads. An Aston Martin steering wheel is no longer used as it has been replaced with a flat-bottomed steering wheel with Alcantara grip areas. This could also provide a glimpse of future Aston Martin models as people currently seem to like it and would love to see it on many other cars that fall under the British automaker’s banner.

Engine specifications

The powertrain of the Aston Martin DB10 is exciting, as the model may start using the brand new 4.0-liter V8 unit. The British have already signed an agreement with the Daimler Group that makes the engine available to Aston Martin already. The first time we saw it in action was in the Mercedes-AMG GT sports car, which was later introduced in other AMG models.

The powertrain will use the AMG’s seven-speed dual-clutch transmission and add a number of other electrical systems that will enhance the engine’s performance. This will result in 500 horsepower, making 0-62 mph acceleration less than 4 seconds and a top speed of 180 mph.

Aston Martin DB10 release date and price

The latest Aston Martin DB10 was first unveiled as a concept model for the Spectre movie as the latest edition of 007. The debut of the production car is scheduled for the end of this year, which will be the breakthrough in the market. The price is currently not available as the British are still keeping it a secret along with some other features that will be revealed soon.
