Aston Martin DBS 770 2025: The End of the Production Era

The Aston Martin DBS 770 Ultimate marks the end of the current DBS generation and is the most powerful version of the model. Its future is uncertain, but for now it is the pinnacle of DBS production.

Aston Martin DBS770

Yes, the “770” in DBS 770 Ultimate refers to the car’s horsepower of 770bhp (759bhp in US measurements) from its 5.2-litre twin-turbo V12 engine. That makes it the most powerful DBS model yet, and the only way to squeeze more horsepower out of Aston Martin is to use electrification.

Specifications

To achieve the high rated power, the engineers increased the boost pressure by 7% and made adjustments to the engine’s intake and ignition system. They also fine-tuned other engine parameters that contributed to the final output of 770 hp, enough to reach a top speed of 340 km/h. In addition, a special calibration was made for the 8-speed automatic transmission to handle the increased power.

The increased power of the DBS 770 Ultimate also required upgrades to the brakes to handle the extra power. But even the standard ceramic brakes in the DBS were already up to the task, with 16.1-inch discs up front and 14.1-inch discs at the rear. The steering was upgraded with a new fixed-mount steering column to improve precision and driver feedback. The chassis was also stiffened and the suspension was recalibrated to improve control and composure without compromising ride quality.
