Audi A9 2025: The Future of Luxury Sedans
The Audi A9 concept was introduced back in 2013, and the A9 Prologue just under a year later. Both cars were Audi’s statement that they wanted to make something bigger, more luxurious and more powerful than the Audi A8 . Well, it seems that a new Audi A9 could be coming our way in 2025 .

Unlike pretty much all other cars, the Audi A9 could also use a Porsche -derived platform. This would be based on the same chassis as the Porsche Panamera , which is a very impressive car.
NEW DESIGN
The finished design of the car will likely sit between the original concept, the prologue , and probably the current Audi A8 . We expect Audi’s corporate grille and headlights to be present on this model as well.
However, its proportions will be completely new for an Audi. The car should be wider and lower than a regular model, as well as much longer. The sloping roof and the width of the car will probably give the impression of a supercar, which Audi has definitely been aiming for lately.
Its cabin will definitely accommodate only four people. Audi will do this to preserve the character of a supercar. In addition, the driver will benefit from a driving position similar to that of the Audi R8 , which should be very impressive in such a large car.

MOTOR
Probably one of the least interesting parts of the upcoming Audi A9 concept will be the engine. It’s one of Audi’s parts that remains mundane, but click here to see some other parts of this car that are far more interesting. The Prologue uses a 4.0-liter V8 with nearly 600 horsepower. This would have plenty of power and torque to make it faster than pretty much any other sedan out there. However, the tiny V8 wouldn’t do justice to such an impressive car. In its place, we expect a specially developed V10 or V12 engine. We could even see the unit from the R8 with an additional supercharger on top. The result would be a massive sports sedan with a supercharged 5.2-liter V10 with up to 760 horsepower or more.
The car would likely be able to reach over 200 MPH with ease while reaching 100 km/h in less than 3 seconds. An eight-speed automatic is expected to be used, while Audi’s already familiar Quattro all-wheel drive system is also expected to be present. Price
The car will certainly be very fast, expensive and quite rare. Some people say that Audi wants to sell the car for over 130,000 euros . That’s way more than the base Panamera, but it should be worth it. Why? Because it will be the equivalent of a Rolls Royce in an Audi jacket.
