Audi e-tron Sportback 2025: Sports version with improved performance and charging

The Audi e-tron Sportback is—you guessed it—a sportier version of the Audi e-tron. Both models come with all-wheel drive and can pump out 355 horsepower with an EPA-estimated range of 222 miles (218 miles for the e-tron Sportback).

In sport mode, the e-tron produces 402 hp. After all this information, will there be any significant changes to the new Audi e-tron Sportback?

Technical data

Despite its more aggressive lines, the Sportsback maintains decent cargo space (58.4 cubic feet) and rear headroom that’s just 20 millimeters (0.8 inches) less than the Audi e-tron Sportback. The car is equipped with the same 95 kWh battery pack as the SUV, but can achieve a range of “up to 446 kilometers” on a single battery charge, which is about 10 kilometers more than the e-tron – again thanks to better aerodynamic performance.

The car’s on-board charger can handle up to 11 kW.

How long does it take to fully charge?

If you charge it from a regular NEMA 5-15 outlet, it will take 58 h 38 min to charge from 0-100% (charging speed ≈8 km/h).
If you charge it from a NEMA 14-50 outlet, it will take 13 hours and 44 min to charge from 0-100% (charging speed ≈32 km/h).
If you charge it from a Tesla Supercharger or other DC charging station, the car battery can accept up to 150 kW of power. However, the average charging rate is lowered to extend battery life. Moreover, not all stations can generate such power. In the best case scenario, you can charge your Audi e-tron Sportback from 0-100% in 95 minutes.
