Audi Q5 E-Tron 2025: Price, exterior, engine, picture.

We have great news! The manufacturer is planning to soon unveil its all-new Audi Q5 E-Tron alongside the standard model. The new Q5 will finally be a plug-in hybrid engine for the first time. In terms of exterior and interior design, we don’t expect any major changes, as the Q5 is still a great-looking, good-looking and well-equipped SUV.

Engine and performance

The German manufacturer has announced the news of launching 10 plug-in hybrids and 10 electric vehicles by . The new Audi Q5 E-Tron will now be powered by a new engine and is a plug-in hybrid unit. This powertrain will combine a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder turbo gasoline engine with an electric motor. The gasoline unit will be able to develop 188 horses and 236 pound-feet of torque. And the electric motor has a power of 108 horsepower and a torque of 221 lb-ft. Unfortunately, the total power of this plug-in hybrid unit is not yet known.

In addition, the engine will be paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. The gasoline engine will drive the front wheels while an electric motor will drive the rear wheels, so the all-wheel drive layout will be standard. In addition, the new Audi Q5 E-Tron will offer an all-electric range of between 36 and 42 miles, according to the automaker.

The exterior and interior design

In terms of exterior design, it is said that the new Audi Q5 E-Tron will not receive any changes from the standard model other than the badge. So, the front fascia will receive the brand’s familiar protective grille and a pair of standard xenon headlights with LED daytime running lights. The LED headlights are optional. At the rear end, we will notice a pair of elongated tailpipes and an electric tailgate. The roof rails are standard and the base model rides on the 18-inch wheels. However, it will also be available with the larger 19- and 20-inch wheels.

Like the base model, the upcoming Audi Q5 E-Tron will get two rows of seats and will be able to accommodate up to five passengers. The seats are comfortable and supportive, especially the front ones. Even in the base trim, the Q5 gets leather seats, and the wood trim with matte and glossy finishes for a more premium look is optional.

Standard features include tri-zone climate control, power front seats, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, 10-speaker audio system, USB, Bluetooth, 7.0-inch touchscreen for the infotainment system, CD player, HomeLink garage opener, rearview camera, etc. The higher trims add a panoramic sunroof, Bang & Olufsen premium audio system, navigation, 8.3-inch touchscreen, heated rear seats, ventilated front seats, lane keeping assist, blind spot monitoring, adaptive cruise control and many others. In addition, it will also be available with the Virtual Cockpit digital instrument cluster.

Release date and price

The all-new Audi Q5 E-Tron is scheduled to arrive early next year. The price is expected to be around €52,000 (Euro).
