Audi Q7 2025: Price, consumption, picture, technical data. SUV
After designing, the Q7 will remain unchanged for the season. After next year, the Audi Q7 will undergo significant changes to keep development on track. In Europe, the special SQ7 performance model will be changed.
SUV Audi Q7
A hybrid is also possible, as arch-rivals BMW and Mercedes are following the same path. The full-size SUV is no longer the largest vehicle in its family following the Q8 ‘s entry into the market . The German automaker will soon complete the Q lineup. Until then, the Q7 remains the flagship of the latest technology the automaker has to offer.
Spy photos of the Audi Q7 don’t reveal too many changes on the outside. Inside, we will see a major overhaul. The new SUV will be very similar to the new Q8. There is also a lot of speculation about the engine range. The SQ7 – or RS Q7 model will receive a huge boost, while the e-tron electric model is on its way back after a short hiatus. The SUV is available globally and currently uses five different configurations, two with petrol engines and three with diesel units.
Gasoline engines
There are two specific setups that the Audi Q7 will offer in the Europe. Well, the new configurations are on the way as well, but these will use the same powertrains as a base. The entry-level SUV will use a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder. Now, this isn’t the perfect engine for the full-size SUV. We still wonder what Audi is trying to do with this 250 hp and 275 lb-ft powertrain. It’s more suited to the compact class, not even a midsize class. But you get good fuel economy numbers. Premium models of its size and weight use 20 mpg at best, while the Q7 returns 19 miles per gallon in city driving.
The Audi Q7 will be more popular with the supercharged V6 that produces 330 horsepower and 325 lb-ft of torque. An eight-speed automatic transmission is a power router. Again, the size positions the Q7 in the full-size class, but the engines say it’s a midsize model. Maximum towing capacity is 7,700 pounds.
Diesel engines
European models were also revised this year to modify the existing engines. These are the same 3.0L and 4.0L powertrains, but with better performance and fuel economy. A 3.0L model becomes the 45 TDI model with 13 more ponies than before (228 hp in total). The SUV also produces 370 lb-ft. The same engine in the 5.0 TDI configuration boosts power to 282 hp (14 more than the previous version) and 445 lb-ft of twisting force. The SQ7 model is already available in Europe with a 4.0L turbodiesel engine. A V8 boosts power to 430 hp and 665 lb-ft of torque. It is the fastest model in the lineup, taking less than 5 seconds to accelerate 0-62 mph per hour.
Release date and prices
Test mules of the Audi Q7 say the SUV is on the way. Early predictions say the vehicle will come in as a -year model. Changes under the hood need more time to achieve perfect performance. Interior modifications on entry-level models increase the price a bit. The base model costs around €57,000 (Euro). This is further proof that the Q7 is more of a mid-size vehicle than a big rig. A high-end SQ7 and E-Tron come with a price tag of over €70,000 (Euro).
