Audi RS3 2025: Price, consumption, picture, technical data.

With a potent 401-hp five-cylinder turbo engine, the Audi RS3 is the raciest version of the company’s small luxury sedan. Based on the four-door Audi A3 and sportier S3 – but blessed with even more power and improved chassis tuning – the next-generation RS model will challenge high-pok rivals like the BMW M2 Coupe and Mercedes ML Sedan.

Sedan Audi RS3

The Audi’s heavily creased sheetmetal, as well as its stylish, nicely appointed interior, make it a compelling class player, but we won’t know how it performs until we drive one. We’re also still waiting for full details on the Audi RS3, which is expected to go on sale by the end of the year.

What’s new ?

After a hiatus for the model year, the sportiest variant of Audi’s smallest sedan returns . Entering its second generation in Europe, the RS3 draws largely from the completely redesigned A3 and S3 . While the three share a platform, interior dimensions, and many similar features, the A3 is powered by a 201-hp turbo-four and the S3 has a 306-hp version of the same mill.

Engine, transmission and performance

One of the RS3’s most distinctive elements is its unusual five-cylinder engine. Its odd number of cylinders gives it a unique, thumping soundtrack that was particularly popular in the previous model. The latest iteration is again a 2.5-liter turbo, but it now makes 401 horsepower. Its predecessor also featured a dual-clutch automatic transmission and all-wheel drive. We expect both to be standard on the new RS3, and Audi has said it will also have a torque-vectoring rear differential with a drift mode. Likewise, the sportiest 3 should have upgraded brakes, stiffer suspension and a unique set of wheels on stickier performance tires compared to the lesser A3 and S3.

Interior, comfort and cargo

Inside, the RS3 sedan will be very similar to the A3 and S3 variants, with similar space for passengers and trunk space. Audi is equipping each with a dashboard design that’s anything but boring. A pair of high-mounted air vents face the driver and flank the instrument panel, which we expect to house a series of digital gauges. Climate controls with physical buttons are located beneath the center touchscreen, and below that is a bin integrated into the center console. Unfortunately, it looks like drivers will have to select gears via an odd, short shift lever. There’s also a circular pad nearby that houses stereo controls, but we’ll have to wait and see if it’s intuitive or annoying.

Infotainment and connectivity

Based on the infotainment system of the A3 and S3, we expect the RS3 to have a 10.1-inch touchscreen in the center of the dashboard. It can be controlled via touch inputs, buttons on the steering wheel, and voice commands. It will also include standard Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone compatibility. Built-in navigation, a subscription-based Wi-Fi hotspot, and wireless charging are also standard or optional.

As more information becomes available, we will update this story with more details on:

  • Fuel Economy and Real-World MPG
  • Safety and driver assistance functions
  • Warranty and maintenance coverage

Price Audi RS3

Audi will reveal more information and show uncamouflaged images of the new RS3 on July 19. Audi hasn’t said how much the Audi RS3 will cost, but we expect it to start just under €60,000 (Euros). Once we know the official price and what equipment is standard and optional, we’ll be able to recommend the ideal configuration to buy.
