Bentley Mulsannes 2025: Price, consumption, picture, technical data.

The news about the production version of the Bentley Mulsanne is becoming clearer. It has been months since we started getting spy photos and various photos about this car without any solid proof. The production of this vehicle started back in 2015 but is only just about to be completed and we can finally hope for a release date soon.

Bentley Mulsanne

The base Bentley Mulsanne was introduced in 2010 and came as a replacement car for the Bentley Arnage. The car we see before us will be a mid-cycle refresh for the Mulsanne, making it even more competitive in the market.

Bentley is not known for extensively updating their cars. Often they would leave the car almost intact for almost a decade. It’s almost the same with the Mulsanne, but we have to say they actually did more than we expected here. Styling brings more modifications to the outside of the car, and we can perhaps thank the upcoming list of cars coming out with the Bentley label.

But the Bentely Mulsanne didn’t come here alone, we also got an Extended Wheelbase version and a Speed variant, with the convertible also in the planning stages but not yet shown.

When is the release date of the Bentley Mulsanne?

As we already know, the Bentley Mulsanne was first revealed at the Geneva Motor Show. We got our first look at the car and got the first confirmation of the car actually being there, but there were no hints about the release date. Now we know that we can expect the car to be driving sometime around , with the latter part of the year being a more suitable timeline for arrival.

How much does the redesigned Bentley Mulsanne cost?

The price of the Bentley Mulsanne has not been officially announced at the time of writing this review, but we can easily estimate the latest figures. The current Mulsanne costs €290,000 (Euro), which is equivalent to the version of the Bentley Mulsanne, which is priced at over €300,000 (Euro). Adding more options will increase the price even further.

Light updates to the exterior as usual from Bentley

We weren’t really expecting the Bentley Mulsanne to change so much, and the designers didn’t disappoint. We got a very mild refresh for the car that has been a Bentley staple for years. It’s been almost 5 years, but the car hasn’t changed that much considering the time it’s been around. The biggest change at the front, however, has to be the new grille, which is wider and features vertical stainless steel slats above the matrix grille. On the sides, we find a pair of new full-LED headlights with advanced adaptive technology.

The side of the car actually has only one noticeable change. It’s the new B-shaped wing vent that’s attached to the lower part of the fender. The window frame also has a brighter chrome than the one on the grille. The rear also features a revised bumper and some new headlights. The bulge under the trunk lid has been removed and the chrome strip under the lid is now thicker. Finally, the taillights have a new B-shaped pattern that includes two main lights instead of three.

The usual type of design on the inside

The interior of the Bentley Mulsannes is also quite similar to the previous car. We see the same dashboard with wood and leather and there is also the same four-spoke steering wheel with integrated controls. The style is the same, but they opted for 13 hand-picked wood veneers, shiny polished stainless steel and a unique glass switchgear. The seats also come in two new finishes: ribbed or quilted. You can even choose between 24 hide colors and single or two-tone finishes.

The engineering department has received the most updates. The new infotainment system has been the most improved. It adds updated navigation, connectivity and audio systems. The 8-inch touchscreen is connected to a 60-gigabyte hard drive, and the front seats are fitted with 10.2-inch Bentley entertainment tablets integrated into the backs. Also offered is a Naim for Bentley premium sound system with 20 speakers, 20 channels, a 2,200-watt amplifier and super tweeters.

No changes under the hood

Under the hood of the Bentley Mulsannes, we get the same 6.75-liter V-8. Unfortunately, it retains the same power and performance as there have been no performance upgrades. Output remains at 505 horsepower and 752 pound-feet of torque. The powertrain is also paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission from ZF.

0-62 mph per hour and top speed performance

If you don’t change the powertrain of the Bentley Mulsannes, the acceleration figures and top speed will also remain the same. The car accelerates to 0-62 mph per hour in 5.1 seconds and also has a top speed of 184 mph. The Extended Wheelbase version has more weight, so it will probably be much slower than the base version, but the specifications for it have not been released yet.

Reported fuel consumption and emissions

They’ve also been updated a bit for fuel economy, thanks to some additions to the Bentley Mulsanne’s powertrain. The engine is equipped with cylinder deactivation and variable cam phasing, which allows CO2 emissions to be reduced to 342 g/km, while combined fuel economy is 19.3 mpg. According to the EPA, city driving is rated at 11 mpg, while highway driving is rated at 18 mpg.

More space with the Extended Wheelbase Version

Although the size and dimensions of the Bentley Mulsannes remain the same, they have made an extended wheelbase version available separately. This adds 9.8 inches to the wheelbase and provides even more comfort for rear passengers. In addition to more legroom, it also offers airline-style leg rests that extend outward and pivot.

The base version is still 219.5 inches long and has a wheelbase of 128.6 inches. The width of the car is 75.8 inches and the height is 59.9 inches. Within the normal wheelbase vehicles, the passenger volume is 107 cu ft and we also get 16 cu ft of cargo space.

Security improvements

These Bentley Mulsannes will come standard with active and passive safety features like you would find in any Bentley on the market. Perhaps the most advanced safety equipment includes high beam assist and automatic stability control with collision mitigation features. The car will also add blind spot warning, which activates between 10 and 250 km/h, predicting the possibility of a collision and visually alerting the driver.

Bentley Mulsanne’s rivals

The luxury and branding of the Bentley Mulsannes cannot be denied, and there are so few vehicles in the segment that can actually match the car in terms of everything it has to offer. Its closest competitor is the Rolls-Royce Ghost Series-II, which has more similarities to the Mulsanne than you’d think. It also took a long time before being updated, and it offers similar levels of comfort and performance, making it a perfect replacement if you’re not into the latest Mulsanne.
