Specifications

Since the BMW iX7 is still a few years away from being available in dealerships, it can be assumed that it will be technologically superior to the BMW i7 Series . The flagship electric sedan will be available in a standard i7 xDrive60 variant and in the future also in a sporty i7 M70 xDrive variant.

The i7 xDrive60 uses a 101.7 kWh battery pack, which could be fitted to the entry-level iX7. The onboard AC charger allows charging at up to 11 kW, while using a public DC charger it is possible to charge at 195 kW, numbers that will improve with BMW’s future 800 V architecture. Two motors turn the wheels, one at the front with 190 kW and 365 Nm and one at the rear with 230 kW and 380 Nm. The 0-62 mph sprint takes 4.7 seconds, and top speed is 240 km/h (electronically limited). The BMW Group expects an EPA-est. range of 310 miles with this configuration.
