BMW X7 2025: Price, picture, technical data.

The X7 is the largest SUV in BMW’s lineup and the only model to come with three rows of seats as standard (X5 offers options). As a flagship model, it attracts a lot of attention, so it’s no wonder the company makes major updates every year, despite being a fairly fresh model that’s only been around for a couple of years.

The new version will come with numerous upgrades, starting with the most powerful engine in the range. In addition, you can count on numerous mechanical and visual improvements that will underline its performance character. On the other hand, the rest of the lineup should continue in the same way. Nevertheless, there is always room for minor novelties, especially in terms of standard equipment. We expect BMW X7 in the fall.

Redesign BMW X7

In terms of basic design features, the BMW X7 will definitely not change. We are talking about a model that has only been around for a couple of years and that runs on the company’s latest CLAR platform. In addition, the styling is up to date as it follows and even emphasizes the brand’s latest design language. Even though the huge grille looks controversial, the overall styling is actually pretty good. We don’t expect any changes for next year.

When it comes to the new high-performance version, it will be available as the XB7 and will feature numerous improvements compared to base models. One of the things that springs to mind is, of course, the chassis and brakes. We also expect to see many new styling details that underline the performance character of the model.

Inner

As for the interior, the new 2024 BMW X7 Alpina will also feature some exclusive details inside. However, the overall cabin design will remain the same, so you can count on a familiar interior that is all about luxury and comfort. The dashboard is clean and relatively simple, and while some rivals may look more opulent, the overall quality of materials and craftsmanship are at a truly impressive level.

In terms of space, the first and second rows are great. The third row can be used by adults as well. Soundproofing is excellent, while visibility in all directions is superb. When it comes to cargo space, you can count on about 12.8 cubic feet of cargo space behind the third row seats, 48.6 cubic feet with the third row folded down, and a huge 90.4 cubic feet with both rear rows folded down. Those are pretty average ratings for the class.

Characteristics

Annual refreshes usually bring some additions in terms of standard equipment. Still, we don’t expect too many of them for next year. The current model comes standard with extras like a 12.3-inch iDrive infotainment screen with Apple CarPlay, navigation, HD radio, satellite radio, 10 speakers, Bluetooth, and three USB ports. The standard equipment list also includes extras like a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, proximity keyless entry, push-button start, four-zone automatic climate control, a panoramic sunroof, a Wi-Fi hotspot, a wireless smartphone charging pad, etc. In higher trim levels, you also get features like remote start, five-zone automatic climate control, heated and cooled cupholders, rear seat entertainment screens, and a variety of premium audio systems.

BMW X7 Engines

The biggest news for next year will be the new XB7 Alpina versions. This will offer the most powerful version of a 4.4-liter V8 with a maximum power of 612 horsepower and 590 pound-feet of torque. That should be enough to move this huge SUV in just four seconds.

The rest of the lineup will continue in the same way, so the base models will be equipped with a 3.0-liter turbo inline-six with 335 horses. The aforementioned V8 is already available in two power variants with 456 and 523 hp.
