BMW Z4 2025: Price, consumption, picture, technical data.
When the BMW Z4 is launched in , it will be an example of the great craftsmanship that characterizes the company. This is a model that manages to balance great sportiness and comfort at the same time.
BMW Z4
The cabin has a great design and not only looks good but more importantly feels good. The Z4 may be the oldest model in the BMW range, but its design has aged much better than the other models and Beemer cars.
The BMW Z4 is certainly one of the more balanced roadsters on the market. It offers a perfect blend of sportiness and driving comfort. Although it is not as fast as the highest rated models on the market, it offers a stable driving proposition when you take this car out for a drive within the city limits.
The current design has been used since 2009, and the car has managed to drive with it for quite some time. The model does not look outdated at all, and the last refresh came in 2012. Now it’s time for another refresh of the Z4 model, and even if the styling of the car holds its own, it’s always good to add something new to the brand.
The release date will be announced soon and since the latest images have been revealed, we thought it was time to give a review.
When is the release date predicted for the?
The newly announced BMW Z4 will be released soon. Currently, only the new photos have been revealed, with the release date still unknown. However, according to the latest sources, we expect the model to come out in early .
What is the price of the BMW Z4?
The price tag of the BMW Z4 is similar to the current one. The model does not get a massive cost increase and will be offered for around €50,000 (Euros). But it still makes it one of the most expensive models in the market and also in its segment.
What is the exterior design like?
The new BMW Z4 will inherit its perfect roadster proportions from its predecessor. The model has a low hood and short front and rear ends. But the car also offers a lot of sporty accessories and aerodynamic parts that make it a great car.
The car combines raised character lines, smooth waves and converging arches to give the car a fresh styling. The exterior is still one of the best parts of the Z4 and with the refresh it makes it sporty and conservative at the same time. The Z4 will be unique as it offers a kind of personality that has not been seen anywhere else in the luxury roadster segment.
What does the interior look like?
The smaller BMW Z4 has a simpler layout and a cockpit-like cabin, making it more driver-focused than any other BMW product on the market. The overall feel of the interior is that of an upscale model with elegant and sophisticated lines all brought together in a modern way. Perhaps the control panel feels a bit cluttered, but the combination of high-end materials and the controls of the iDrive system makes this part balanced.
The upholstery and materials used for the interior are great. They spared no expense there, but while the interior isn’t the best example of spaciousness, it offers a minimalist take on a classic roadster interior. In terms of style and luxury, the Z4’s interior certainly has the upper hand compared to the competition.
Drivetrain and performance
The new BMW Z4 will come in the same three trims as before: sDrive28i, sDrive35i, and sDrive35is. The sDrive28i version will use a 2.0-liter inline-4 engine that produces 240 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque. The sDrive35i will be motivated by a turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-6 offering 300 horsepower and 300 lb-ft of torque. And the final sDrive35is offering delivers 335 hp and 332 lb-ft of torque.
0-60 mph performance
Each version of the BMW Z4 has a different acceleration rate based on the engine used and innate capabilities. The first can sprint to 0-60 mph in 5.6 seconds, the second does it in exactly 5 seconds, while the largest and most powerful offers a 4.8 second offer.
Fuel Economy Rates
With the version of the BMW Z4 offered, you get a fuel-efficient and also a quick offer. If you want to save fuel and consequently more money, you should go for the sDrive28i, which has an EPA rating of 22 mpg city, 34 highway, 26 combined. The sportiest Z4 model is the sDrive35is, and this model has the rating of 17/24/20 mpg and the sDrive35i has the same rating.
Dimensions and Size
With the BMW Z4 Refresh , the model does not have any dimensional changes. The model is balanced and as I said at the beginning, it is still a good and traditional roadster design. They did not want to break the balance this time and just transferred the dimensions, leaving everything as it was. The interior space is still not great, but you wouldn’t expect more from a roadster either way.
Safety Features
The safety of the BMW Z4 is seriously addressed. Although we are not getting a major refresh this time, it is safe to say that this car is a safe vehicle. Advanced safety equipment is likely to be saved for future models or even a new generation car. For now, you get front and side airbags, adaptive brake lights, and stability and brake control systems with multiple settings in every car. Optional equipment includes automatic headlights, park distance control, and BMW Assist Service with Bluetooth. However, the downside of the Z4 brand is that it still doesn’t offer a rearview camera, blind spot monitoring and lane departure warning systems, which are considered advanced and perhaps necessary elements for modern vehicles.
What competitor cars will it face?
The BMW Z4 reaches a star segment. The models shown here are all great and it will be really hard to determine which one takes the front seat. The Z4 may be the most expensive of all, but it offers the most consistent offering. Other cars include the Audi TT, Chevrolet Corvette, Mercedes-Benz SLK-Class and Porsche Boxster.
