In short, the new model is safer, more comfortable, easier to use and just the right luxury car for every family around the world. Europa Today has already quoted that “the once unthinkable big Cadillac has now become indispensable”.

Price and release date

Although Cadillac is yet to make an official announcement regarding the release date and price of its latest family sport, it is expected to hit the market soon. The average price of the Cadillac Escalade can be estimated at €70,000-€75,000 due to the latest additions and a high-tech engine, various sources confirmed.

Interior and exterior redesign

The elegant all-new Cadillac Escalade was designed by Bob Boniface. It is based on the combination of sharp and polarizing design with a sumptuous interior that deserves the price. This model features heated seats in the front and second row, a standard power folding function and leather upholstery in the third row.

In addition to premium leather, hand-selected wood can be found on the center console, armrest and instrument panel. Some of these new features include the Advanced Diagnostics, Driver Awareness Package (Y86), which includes Safety Alert Seat, Lane Keeping Assist and Forward Collision Alert, and IntelliBeam headlights.

Other features include a rear seat DVD entertainment system that enables improved system speed and performance, faster and more accurate map loading and voice command execution, quick service reprogramming, redesigned navigation interfaces, Bluetooth media, one-press navigation voice mute/cancel route, and enhanced city maps with 3D route information.

This time, the makers of the Cadillac Escalade car have done away with two exterior colors – Crystal Red and White Diamond Tintcoat, and instead introduced four different never-seen-before colors for their buyers, namely Red Passion Tintcoat, Crystal White Tricoat, Gray Silk Metallic and Dark Emerald Metallic.

Motor

The fourth-generation Cadillac Escalade will debut with a new 6.2-liter supercharged V8 EcoTec FlexFuel engine. This engine is expected to produce a power equivalent of 557 hp and 542 lb-ft of torque.

The powertrain comes with a warranty of three years or up to 3,600 miles. Experts have predicted that the engine will reach an estimated speed of 230 km/h with a 0-62 mph acceleration for 5.6 seconds.

Additionally, buyers can expect a new 3.5-liter twin-turbocharged V6 EcoBoost gasoline engine producing 380 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque.

The Escalade’s potent pushrod V-8 has always been part of its appeal, and in its current form, motivates the SUV to nip the 0-to-60 dash in a shade under six seconds, which is nothing to scoff at for a three-ton, body-on-frame SUV.
