Canoo Pickup Truck 2025: Price, consumption, picture, technical data.
In the battle of strange-looking electric pickup trucks, there is a new challenger to Tesla Cybertruck. That would be the Canoo Pickup Truck , leaked yesterday. Planned as the third Canoo product to use its proprietary EV platform, it resembles a modern ID.Buzz microbus . And that’s not a bad thing.

Canoo’s other two vehicles are in the same style of Jetsons meets the Muppets styling. Its multi-purpose delivery van called the catchy MPDV is a much more modular looking production. And it has a very commercial look. Customers can flexibly customize their MPDVs.
Technical details
The standard pickup comes with a rear engine, but a second engine will also be available. With the dual motors, the pickup is capable of 600 horsepower and 550 ft-lb of torque. Payload is around 1,800 lbs. Range is at least 200 miles per charge.
Canoo’s pickup has some unique features like the slide-out bed extender. The pickup’s bed is six feet as standard, but the tailgate doors can swing out, making the bed eight feet long. With the tailgate closed, there’s a second taillight. Canoo says a 4×8-inch sheet of plywood fits snugly in the bed.
The pickup also features a modular bulkhead system. Setting them up prevents items from shifting or rolling around. Wheel chocks for bikes are part of the system, as are links for tie-downs or bungee cords. Side steps are built into the side of the truck, but can also be used to store small items like cold drinks or personal electronics.
Another cool feature is that the body sides can be folded down to create tables. The table itself can be adjusted to two different lengths. Exportable power is also one of the Canoo’s features. Power can be maintained for eight hours or more while only drawing 10% from the pickup’s range. And the brake light on the cab also functions as bed lighting, supporting perimeter lighting around the bed.
There is additional storage space up front where the engine would be in a regular pickup truck. There is also a folding table if the ones on the sides of the truck are not enough. It also includes power outlets. If all of these features are not enough, there are a number of different camper shells that are available. Another group of options will be differently configured roof racks.
Interior and safety
The body panels are made of plastic and attached to a steel frame at the beltline. Above them are large glass panels for that picturesque bus feel. Hopefully it won’t feel like a microwave for the passengers inside
The dashboard is spartan and there is a reason for that. The Canoo intends for the driver to be able to access their phone to monitor things inside and outside the Canoo. In the back, there are lounge-style seats next to folding seats on the side doors. Special airbags are being developed for the passengers on these additional seats.
The safety and automation system includes seven cameras, five radars and twelve ultrasonic sensors. An active driver monitoring system monitors the driver.
Price Canoo Pickup Truck
Canoo has also started accepting a $100 deposit for the van, as well as the electric pickup truck unveiled in March and the van unveiled late last year. The price of the pickup truck was not disclosed, although Canoo said the base price of the Canoo Pickup Truck for delivery would be €28,500. The Canoo van is scheduled to go into production sometime in , although production of the other two vehicles will not begin until at the earliest.
