DESIGN
As we said, rumors about the next-generation Chevy Colorado are false. Instead, the new Colorado will arrive with minor upgrades. Colorado already offers eye-catching styling, and some parts look aggressive. On the other hand, the midsize pickup is stylish, especially the front fascia. Colorado will continue to ride on standard 17-inch wheels, and most of the exterior features are a carryover.
However, new exterior colors will be available. Reports say Cherry Bomb Tintcoat and Dune Metallic exterior colors. Under the skin, Colorado continues to ride on the GMT 31XX platform. The Colorado pickup offers an extended cab and crew cab with short and long box options.
Interior
The upcoming Chevy Colorado will stick with its current interior. More major updates will come in , once the third-generation Colorado arrives. Until then, Chevy will provide minor upgrades to keep its midsize pickup competitive. However, Chevy will reorder the trim levels so we can expect more standard features.
This is especially good for the base trim level, which now offers more standard features. The infotainment system is updated, but standard and optional touchscreens remain. The interior offers plenty of space and comfort is great, so no other changes are needed at the moment.
Engine details
The all-new Chevy Colorado will stick to its current engine lineup. However, the latest reports suggest that the 2.8-liter turbodiesel engine will not be offered.
