Chevy Impala 2025: price, consumption, picture, technical data.
The upcoming new Chevy Impala will not be released with any major changes, especially considering that the model was radically reinvented for the year 2013. We can all remember that the hybrid eAssist model was discontinued just last year. Also, all models have a brand new feature: 4G data connectivity with Wi-Fi hotspot capability.
Chevy Impala
One entry was also a petrol/CNG bi-fuel model. However, , we should expect very mild changes to the vital organs, but nothing revolutionary. You should also look at other models on the market, including Toyota Avalon with a spacious interior, a super smooth V6 and of course a hybrid model.
Another stylish vehicle worth looking at is the well-equipped Kia Cadenza and Hyundai Azera, which come hot on the heels of Avalon. The luxurious RWD Chrysler 300 model would complete your likely shopping list. You could also consider Hyundai Genesis.
However, if you are inclined to purchase any of the above vehicles, we recommend that you test drive the Impala first before making your final decision.

Exterior changes & interior shots
The upcoming new Impala will surely feature the same trims as last year: base LS, LT and LTZ trims. A further division will continue for the LT and LTZ models, splitting into 1LT and 2LT and 1LTZ and 2LTZ sub-trims. In layman’s terms, the numbers indicate whether the 4-cylinder (1) or the V6 (2) is under the hood.
Standard features on the base LS model include automatic headlights, 18-inch steel wheels, keyless entry, air conditioning, cruise control, a tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel, a trip computer, an eight-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, full power accessories, OnStar emergency communications with 4G Wi-Fi capability, Bluetooth phone and audio connectivity, a 4.2-inch color display and a 6-speaker sound system with satellite radio, CD player and USB port with iPod connectivity, an auxiliary input. The LS Convenience package adds folding rear head restraints, as well as a cargo net and rear parking sensors.
The 1LT adds heated side mirrors, 18-inch alloy wheels, a leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob, dual-zone automatic climate control, the MyLink infotainment system with an 8-inch touchscreen, Bluetooth audio connectivity, two additional USB ports, voice controls, SD card slot, HD Radio, voice-to-text messaging capability for certain smartphones, and compatibility with Internet radio smartphone apps.
Options on the LT are primarily grouped into different packages. The Advanced Safety package adds a lane departure warning system, a forward collision warning system, blind spot monitoring and rear cross traffic alert. The Premium Seating package includes heated front seats and an eight-way power passenger seat, as well as synthetic suede upholstery. There is also a Premium Audio and Sport Wheels package that includes interior lighting, 19-inch wheels, a rear spoiler, a 120-volt power outlet and an 11-speaker Bose sound system. The Navigation package adds keyless ignition and entry and adds navigation to the MyLink system. The Convenience package includes a rearview camera, rear parking sensors, remote ignition and an auto-dimming rearview mirror with a universal garage door opener.
The LTZ starts with the 1LTZ subtrim, basically a fully optioned 1LT plus leather upholstery, but without the auto-dimming rearview mirror, rear spoiler, sunroof, Bose stereo and 120-volt power outlet. It is also eligible for a few option packages of its own. The Comfort and Convenience package includes the auto-dimming rearview mirror, exterior ambient lighting, a heated power tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel, ventilated front seats and driver memory settings. The Premium Audio package includes the 120-volt power outlet and Bose system.
Engine specifications
All of the Impalas mentioned above will come with a 6-speed automatic transmission and a FWD system, according to our own assumptions. The base engine is a 2.5-liter 4-cylinder powerplant that makes 195 horsepower and 187 pound-feet of torque. EPA estimates should be similar to the previous model, which was rated at 18/28/21 mpg in the city/highway/combined. Another powerplant is a 3.6-liter V6 that can deliver about 305 horsepower and 264 pound-feet of torque. In our own performance testing of last year’s model, the 2015 Chevy Impala sprinted from 0-60 mph in 6.7 seconds.
