Citroen C3 Aircross 2025: New Features and Changes

The charismatic Citroen C3 Aircross mini-crossover debuted more than three years ago, but never became a major player in the B-SUV segment of the European market, finding only 75,281 buyers in , while rivals to the Renault Captur and VW T-Roc sold 178,724 and 158,638 units.

Restyling is intended to change the situation, which brought the SUV a new “face”, an improved multimedia system and fresh interior trim. The Citroen C3 Aircross will go on sale this summer. Prices will be announced later, but they are unlikely to deviate far from the current ones – now, we recall, the minimum price of a car is 18,500 euros.

Model body design

During the restyling, the crossover retained its silhouette, as well as the design of the sidewalls and rear. But the nose was completely rethought – a different look appeared, other contours received branded chevrons, the geometry and pattern of the radiator grille were updated. The lower part of the bumper has an original silver-gray trim with colored inserts. With the renewal of the “front end”, according to the developers’ plan, maturity and solidity should replace the previous playfulness.

Traditionally, the Citroen C3 Aircross offers many customization options. The body color palette now includes seven shades, three of which are new – Khaki Gray, Voltaic Blue and Polar White. The contrast roof, which was previously painted only in black, can now be white. The number of color packs has been increased to four with two new textures, Anodised Orange and Anodised Dark Blue. In addition, several variants of wheel disks of 16th and 17th diameters are prepared for it. As a result, the total number of personalization schemes reaches 70.

The dimensions of the SUV have hardly changed. Only the body length has increased – by a modest 6 mm (up to 4160 mm). The other dimensions are the same: width – 1760 mm, height – 1640 mm, wheelbase – 2600 mm.

The interior of the novelty

The list of improvements in the cabin begins with an enlarged display of the standard Connect Nav media center – now its diagonal is not seven, but nine inches. Available functions include mirroring the smartphone screen (Android Auto / Apple CarPlay available) and wireless charging of devices.

Another innovation is the Citroen Advanced Comfort seats with dense foam padding and reinforced support. Not only do they provide a comfortable seating position, but they also create a pleasant visual impression thanks to the special decorative stitching that was used for the first time on the Citroen e-C4 models.

In addition, the redesigned C3 Aircross has new equipment options. The buyer can choose between the following schemes:

Standard – in shades of grey;
Urban Blue – blue colors dominate;
Metropolitan Graphite – combined upholstery made of structured fabrics (main tone grey);
Hype Grey – A combination of grey-green leather and black fabric is used.
Also, the update resulted in a well-thought-out center box between the front seats in the crossover’s interior. It has a large, comfortable compartment with a sliding closure that is accessible to both front and rear passengers.

After the modernization, the Citroen C3 Aircross remains as practical and versatile as before. The spacious second row seats can be partially folded down and moved lengthways by 150 mm, changing the boot volume in the range of 410 to 520 liters. With the rear seat backrest folded down, the cargo space increases to 1,289 liters. Thanks to the folding passenger seat, objects up to 2.4 meters long can fit in the cabin.

There were no technological innovations. The crossover is still powered by PureTech 1.2 petrol engines with 110 and 130 hp. (205 and 230 Nm) and BlueHDi 1.5 diesel with 110 and 120 hp. (250 and 300 Nm). The first units for 110 hp work in conjunction with a 6-speed manual gearbox, “older” engines – with a 6-speed “automatic”. All versions have only front-wheel drive. The Grip Control system with hill descent control is designed for off-road support – it regulates traction on the wheels by changing the settings of the traction control electronics.
