review

According to the company, the Dacia Jogger takes the length of a station wagon, the space of an off-road vehicle and the styling of an SUV, combining everything to put it in a class of its own. In terms of design, the front apron sports slim headlights with the characteristic Y-shaped LED daytime running lights. These flank the wide grille, which Dacia says is unique to the brand. The sculpted bonnet and silver skid plate complete the look at the front.

From the side, the Jogger’s profile shows all three flavors that Dacia spoke of. Modular roof rails and black cladding give the Jogger an SUV presence, while the length speaks of the station wagon. The rear is a low-slung affair with vertically stacked taillights and a bumper-mounted scuff plate to complete the SUV-inspired look.

platform

The Dacia Jogger is based on the CMF-B platform, which is shared with the new Logan and Sandero. The Jogger measures 4,547 mm in length, 1,784 mm in width and 1,632 mm in height, while the wheelbase measures 2,897 mm. This makes the Jogger the longest vehicle in the company’s range.

Security

The Jogger has the essential safety features. The emergency braking assistant, for example, is active between 7 km/h and 170 km/h. If the driver reacts with insufficient braking force or does not brake at all, the system either brakes harder or brakes automatically.

Optionally, it comes with a blind spot warning, parking and hill start assist, standard speed limiter and ESC as well as cruise control and steering wheel controls.
