Dodge Magnum 2025: Price, consumption, picture, technical data.

Older generations will know this nameplate, which has been used several times over the past decades. While most models were designed for the Latin American markets, the latest version, produced between 2005 and 2008, was a station wagon based on the Charger. This is exactly what we expect from the possible comeback, to bring this combination of practicality and sportiness. Supposedly, the new model could arrive as early as , like the Dodge Magnum.

Dodge Charger

This is just a rumor for now and the actual chances of seeing this model in the near future are really slim. However, that doesn’t mean we can speculate on possible design features. We expect the overall layout to be heavily related to the current generation Charger. This doesn’t just refer to the mechanics, but also to things like aesthetics, engine upgrades.

design

As we just mentioned, the comeback of the Dodge Magnum would likely mean a station wagon design. When it comes to mechanicals, most of the parts would be shared with the Charger. The two models would ride on the same platform and feature almost the same chassis.

The main difference is of course the body layout. We assume that the styling is the same, at least in terms of the front end. On the other hand, the rear would bring a typical station wagon design and we suspect that the rear overhang would also be significantly longer.

Inner

Again, we would see a lot of similarities with the muscle sedan. The dashboard would likely look the same as the list of features, whether it’s tech goodies and convenience features. Of course, there’s always the possibility of seeing tweaks in terms of color schemes, materials, and the like.

The seating configuration and overall passenger compartment size would also be quite similar. The current Charger features a 120-plus-inch wheelbase and offers plenty of legroom in both rows. We expect the same from this one, although we thought we expected the Dodge Magnum to offer a little more headroom in the second row. The main difference would be the cargo area, where we expect plenty of space given the model’s expected dimensions.

Engines

When it comes to the powertrain, we expect the Dodge Magnum to mimic the Charger to a pretty large extent. Therefore, the lineup would likely start with a 3.6-liter V6 that produces between 292 and 300 hp. Of course, we also count on a few V8 options on offer, starting with a smaller 5.7-liter HEMI unit. This engine produces around 370 hp. Finally, there is a 6.4-liter that comes in two power variants with a choice of 470 or 485 hp.

The Charger is also available with a monstrous 6.2-liter supercharged V8 Hellcat engine that produces 717 or 797 horsepower. The chances of seeing a station wagon with such an engine are really slim, but when we consider that manufacturers like Audi have been making high-performance station wagons for decades, we don’t see why Dodge wouldn’t do the same.

Release date and price

At this point, the Dodge Magnum is just a rumor and the actual chances of seeing it in production are minimal. However, if it does arrive, we expect the starting price for the base model would be around $26,000, while the rest of the pricing will depend on the engine offering. Some rumors suggest that this station wagon could arrive as early as .
