Although the news of a Ferrari FF Coupe sounds great, it could leave some problems in their lineup. The F12berlinetta essentially takes that spot in the list of Ferrari cars, and as announced, the two vehicles will be similar in terms of design as well. We are witnessing a very interesting turn of events for Ferrari and you can learn everything you need to know about the FF Coupe version from our review.

What about the release date?

The Ferrari FF Coupe release date is still speculative. The designers haven’t given us an exact date, preferring to keep things under wraps for now. This could lead to a release date soon, but it could also mean we’re waiting until the end of . More news on this will be announced soon and we’ll make sure to report it.

What can you expect about the price of the Ferrari FF Coupé?

As we expected, the Ferrari FF Coupe version will be an expensive model. The exact price has not yet been determined and we do not have the exact price of the car available, but a figure of around €300,000 (Euro) is imminent.

A bold new appearance

This new Ferrari FF Coupe will have an advantage over the base FF car. Since many people say the FF has a clown shoe design, this one will improve on that and give us a more conventional one. It’s a far more serious type of design and gives us a more corporate look to the FF Coupe version. This means we’ll get a sloping roofline and there will be no rear seats. Also as part of the additional changes, we expect the front fascia to change slightly for the air vents at the front.

The downside of the previous cars was that the exterior style turned off many customers because of its strange styling. But now for both the base and coupe versions, they will have a more traditional and corporate look which suits the car well. We expect it to do much better in the market than before.

What about the interior of the Ferrari FF Coupé?

There are not many things known for the interior of the Ferrari FF Coupe. From what we know, they are planning certain changes, but so far none of them have been mentioned. One thing is for sure and that is that the coupe will lose the rear seats. The current FF is known for being extremely spacious both in the front and the back.

They will probably keep these features and make the coupe version as spacious as the outgoing one, but they will address the functionality and comfort of the car. Updates we expect are an interior with new and high-quality materials and supportive seats. Some new technology bits are sure to make it inside too. Perhaps we can look for details on the F12berlinetta, which will be kind enough to borrow some elements for the FF coupe.

The drive train

It was previously announced that the Ferrari FF Coupe would share its powertrain with the existing FF. So we can expect the 6.3-liter V-12 engine to be fitted to the coupe, all-wheel drive and all. This means that a possible output of 660 horsepower and 503 pound-feet of torque is also likely for the coupe version, as that’s how much the base makes.

0-62 mph per hour and maximum speed

Carrying over the engine to the Ferrari FF Coupe will likely carry over all the specs and pricing as well. We expect the vehicle to be able to do 0-62 mph in 3.7 seconds and reach a top speed of 208 mph, the same as the regular FF. However, some specs may change, and it will depend on how the car carries over the engine.

What about the car’s fuel consumption

Currently, the fuel consumption specifications of the Ferrari FF Coupe are not offered. It is difficult to say that the statistics will be the same as in the current FF, but we doubt it. But what is certain is that the car will consume a lot of fuel and it will not really make this coupe version a fuel-efficient car. Expect to spend extra money on fuel if you use this one.

Dimensions

Since the Ferrari FF Coupe is changing its styling, it will likely affect its dimensions. They are turning the car into a coupe now, but there have been no hints about the actual size of the car. The dimensions will be drastically different, which is for sure, and it will be made available once all the details about the car are finalized. The current FF is 193.2 inches long, has a height of 54.3 inches and a width of 76.9 inches, and carries a wheelbase of 117.7 inches.

Safety specifications

The new Ferrari FF Coupe is still in development and there is little news about the possible safety measures that will be taken. In fact, we are likely to see an improvement over the base FF, but the coupe version has not yet announced any. This gives them the opportunity to expand the range and add more safety measurements and we look forward to seeing which of them they can add.

Other cars in the segment

There are many cars that pose an opposition to the Ferrari FF Coupe. Some of them may rival it in comfort and others in performance, but the price range is very similar to all of them. Considered here are the Aston Martin Vanquish , Bentley Continental GT and Rolls-Royce Wraith .
