Ferrari SF90 2025: Price, consumption, picture, technical data.

Despite being equipped with a plug-in hybrid powertrain, the Ferrari SF90 won’t blend into traffic like a Hyundai Ioniq 7 or a Toyota Prius Prime. Offered as a hardtop coupe Stradale and convertible Spider, these Italian thoroughbreds offer an astonishing 986 horsepower and acceleration on the asphalt.

Sports car Ferrari SF90

Despite their stratospheric performance, the SF90 models don’t skimp on comfort for driver and passenger, and both offer an impressive list of standard features, including a reconfigurable digital display, automatic climate control and a leather-lined cabin. All that power and exclusivity comes with an equally lofty price tag, however – one that’s north of €500,000 (Euros) – but for the lucky few, this ultimate Ferrari is worth every penny.

What’s new ?

The hardtop SF90 Stradale is joined by the convertible Spider . A power- folding hardtop allows buyers to enjoy the Ferrari’s 986 horsepower while working on their tan.
Both models come with enough amenities to make a satisfactory choice for buyers in this price range, but we’d go with the drop-top Spider variant. If you want to give this Ferrari more customized styling, you can choose from a variety of upholstery options. There are also different wheel designs, and the list of available upgrades also includes carbon fiber components, titanium exhaust pipes, a digital rearview mirror, and brake calipers in different colors.

Engine, transmission and performance

In the SF90, power comes from a massive V-8 and three electric motors. The twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V-8 generates a massive 769 horsepower on its own, and the trio of electric motors deliver an additional 217 horsepower. In the end, the gas/electric powertrain produces a net output of 986 horsepower and 590 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to all four wheels, making it the first mid-engine Ferrari with all-wheel drive. An eight-speed automatic transmission oversees proceedings. As you’d expect, all that power under the hood translates to blistering acceleration. Ferrari estimates it’ll rocket from zero to 60 mph in just under 2.5 seconds. Various drive modes allow you to customize the car’s handling to your preferences. The lineup includes EV Only, Hybrid, Performance, and last but not least, Qualify—a setting that lets you take full advantage of the car ‘s performance capabilities .

Fuel Economy and Real-World MPG

The EPA estimates that the SF90 Stradale coupe should deliver 18 mpg combined when running on gasoline alone, and up to 51 MPGe when using both the gasoline engine and electric motors. We didn’t test the SF90 on our 75-mph highway fuel-economy route, which is part of our testing program, so we can’t evaluate its real-world mpg.

Interior, comfort and cargo

The interior of the SF90 is fairly sedate, with the yellow prancing horse logo adding a pop of color in the center of the steering wheel. This two-seat coupe houses a sculpted dashboard with flowing lines that mimic the flowing design of the car’s exterior. Cargo space is typically at a premium in high-performance exotics. This is certainly the case with the SF90, which offers roughly three cubic feet of space for your belongings.

Infotainment and connectivity

All SF90 models come with a front LCD monitor and a six-speaker sound system. The car also comes with standard tech features like Bluetooth phone and audio streaming, real-time traffic and an integrated navigation system with voice activation capability. Apple CarPlay integration is offered, but Android Auto is not on the list of available amenities.

Safety and driver assistance functions

The Ferrari SF90 models have not received an overall crash test rating from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) or the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS). Hypercars are not typically known for offering a wide selection of driver assistance features, and this is true for the SF90. Amenities such as a blind spot warning system are not available. Key safety features include:

  • Standard rear view camera
  • Standard rear parking sensors

Warranty and maintenance coverage

Ferrari offers a limited warranty and powertrain guarantee that is identical to Lamborghini. However, Ferrari outdoes its rival when it comes to free scheduled maintenance; you get seven years of coverage on Ferrari vehicles. No free scheduled maintenance is offered on Lamborghini vehicles.
