Fisker Ocean EVs 2025: Price, consumption, picture, technical data.
The tide is turning for electric vehicles as more and more new models flood the market, and Fisker Automotive is trying to capitalize on that sentiment with its aptly named Fisker Ocean EV SUV. Although it’s still a few years away – or possibly more based on the company’s history of breaking promises – the Ocean has a low starting price ($32,000) and a long range (up to 300 miles).

It could also benefit from the brand’s partnership with Electrify America, which may include some free fees for customers. With a design similar to the handsome Range Rover Evoque , the Fisker Ocean EVs could prove to be a compelling entry into the emerging EV SUV segment.
What’s new ?
Fisker is planning a return to relevance with a trio of all-new electric vehicles, starting with an SUV the company calls Ocean. At its official launch, Fisker announced a driving range of between 250 and 300 miles and starting at 32,000 euros.
The Fisker Ocean EVs will start at €32,000 when they eventually go on sale. Fisker will also offer a leasing-like subscription that costs €300 per month and allows an impressive 30,000 miles per year including maintenance and service. However, it requires an upfront payment of €2500. The company is currently accepting €230 deposits to reserve one.
Engine, transmission and performance
The Fisker Ocean EVs will be all-electric, offer two- or four-wheel drive, and the fastest version is said to accelerate from zero to 100 km per hour in 2.9 seconds. That’s pretty much all we know about the powertrain of Fisker’s upcoming SUV. It was also said that the Ocean will have a battery pack of at least 80.0 kWh.
Range, charging and battery life
The upcoming Ocean is expected to have a range of between 250 and 300 miles, which is more than the Audi e-tron or Jaguar I-Pace . However, it costs considerably less than either of those luxury all-electric crossovers. The Ocean will be compatible with most EV charging stations, and Fisker has partnered with Electrify America to offer owners an unspecified amount of free charging.
Fuel consumption and real MPGe
Since full details on the Ocean are not yet known, we have no idea how efficient the luxury SUV will be. Once more details are announced and we have a chance to conduct our real-world testing, we will be able to evaluate how the Fisker compares to other electric SUVs. For more information on the Ocean’s fuel economy, visit the EPA’s website.
Interior, comfort and cargo
Inside, the Ocean has a straightforward layout balanced by some simple controls. Along with a large touchscreen, the Fisker’s dashboard includes a digital instrument cluster, a head-up display, and white faux suede stretching across it. However, the amount of high-end standard equipment is expected to be limited, as the Ocean is marketed as an affordable EV. We just hope the back seat and cargo space are more useful than those in the company’s ill-fated sedan.
Infotainment and connectivity
Despite the lack of details, the upcoming Ocean will feature a modern infotainment system with a large touchscreen and two wireless chargers. While some luxury rivals offer intuitive smartphone integration via Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, it’s uncertain whether Fisker will do the same.
Safety and driver assistance functions
While we don’t know what specific driver-assistance technology will be available on the Fisker SUV, we expect it to offer many of the standard and optional safety features common on modern automobiles, as well as autonomous capabilities. For more information on the Ocean’s crash test results, visit the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) and Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) websites.
Warranty and maintenance coverage
There are no details on what type of limited or powertrain warranty will accompany the upcoming Ocean. Likewise, it is unknown whether Fisker will offer free scheduled maintenance.
