Ford Mustang Cabrio 2025: Price, consumption, picture, technical data.
The new model of the cheap Ford Mustang convertible has finally appeared. In fact, it has been less than a year since the sixth generation Mustang was launched and this is a continuation of that model that offers us many customizable features. The most important thing is that it is a convertible and that it looks back a little to the traditional and old Ford Mustang car that was previously used to make beer.
Ford Mustang Convertible
The thing about the previous model was that it was criticized too much for modernizing the car too much. Many fans complained because they couldn’t see the real Mustang car underneath. The lack of some traditional styling elements actually made the sixth generation model very unpopular and the brand suffered because of it.
With the latest update, Ford decided to go back to the roots and bring fans exactly what they wanted. The new car incorporates many elements from the old Mustang cars and brings us what we always wanted from a Ford Mustang. They even add some additional packages that embody the style of the 1960s models.
The base trim will be quite a head turner as there are many styling cues that will make the nostalgic fans very happy. Some additional and luxurious features can only be received in the upgraded packages. So, if you want a technological upgrade for your Mustang, you will have to opt for the Premium package first and other better upgrades are also available in the higher trims. This is actually a way for Ford to get the fans to buy the higher trims more. But those who don’t mind the base version will be happy to know that the price has remained the same as the previous version.
Ford Mustang Cabrio exterior
What has changed for the exterior of the Ford Mustang Convertible is that it includes some traditional additions that are hallmarks of the old Mustang vehicle. However, the biggest changes are only available for the upgraded packages. The base version has only received the turn signals integrated into the hood vent that were part of the vehicle’s design for the 1967 model. If you opt for the EcoBoost and GT, you will have a car with additional over-the-top racing stripes that are also seen on the Shelby GT350. You also have the option of some new color patterns with this addition, using the silver and black as new colors. But one of the most popular packages will be the Pony Package. It is actually available for the Mustang EcoBoost Premium trim and offers 19-inch,
If you want a stealthier look, you can opt for the Black Accent package, which is only available on the GT trims. This is especially useful for the convertible models as it enhances the beauty of the car with 19-inch alloy wheels in black, a 5.0 and Pony logo in black and a black rear decklid spoiler with smoked taillight trim. But there is also the California Special Package and the Performance Package for the GT convertible. The former adds 19-inch ebony-painted aluminum wheels with smoked taillight accents, a performance front splitter and a special grille with tri-bar pony logo, while the latter comes with a more aggressive front splitter and deletes the rear spoiler.

The interior is mostly unaffected by the update. The biggest change in the Ford Mustang is the additional entertainment system included in the Premium package. It includes the SYNC 3, which is faster and more intuitive than the previous one and makes a big difference for the users of this vehicle. You can even update the software at any time via WiFi.
The California Special Package adds some comfort-enhancing features to the convertible option. This gets you the Ebony leather and Miko suede seat inserts with red contrast stitching and embossed logos on the inside, as well as special door panel inserts and premium carpets with red stitching. However, if you combine the Mustang GT convertible with the Performance Package, you get the aluminum instrument panel with auxiliary gauges.
Engine Ford Mustang Convertible
The Ford Mustang Convertible continues its story for the next model year with the same engine settings as before. This means that the base version uses the 3.7-liter V6 engine with 300 horsepower and 280 pound-feet of torque. It offers excellent acceleration as the car hits the 60 mph mark in 6 seconds. Next, we have the turbocharged 2.3-liter four-cylinder EcoBoost that produces 310 horses and 320 pound-feet of torque and can push 0-60 mph in 5.2 seconds with an automatic transmission or 5.5 seconds with a manual transmission.
Finally, there’s the 5.0-liter “Coyote” that makes 435 horsepower and 400 pound-feet of torque. It accelerates to 60 miles per hour in a record 4.5 seconds, putting the Mustang on par with rivals Chevy and Camaro. All of the aforementioned engine options are paired with a Getrag six-speed manual transmission or the optional six-speed automatic transmission, which also features steering wheel-mounted paddle shifters.
