The same document also shows a hybrid version. Also, a new Raptor will introduce serious exterior improvements. In addition, the interior will receive small modifications and additional equipment. Overall, exciting times are coming for the F-150 Raptor model and here’s what you need to know.
Hybrid exterior view
According to the latest rendering photos, drastic exterior changes are confirmed. The Ford Raptor Hybrid will be redesigned, but we don’t know yet if we’re interested in the next-generation F-150 Raptor. Reliable sources say the next-generation model is coming and Raptor will be offered in a crew cab. Still, the exact information should be announced this summer.
What we know so far is that the rendering photos show numerous exterior improvements. The new Raptor looks blockier than ever and features a single crossbar dividing the grille. The front fascia is heavily camouflaged, but it appears that the front end looks more squared off. That clearly hints at a new layout ahead, with a wider grille and new headlights.
Inside rumors
The interior is still a mystery. The new Ford Raptor Hybrid does not deviate from the regular gasoline-powered Raptor in terms of interior design. However, some novelties are on the way. The cabin is sportier than the base F-150 model, and Ford will try to create an even sportier atmosphere. In addition, the Blue Oval manufacturer will certainly opt for higher quality materials. On the other hand, the interior trim, dashboard design and steering wheel should remain the same.
In addition, the upholstery will not be changed either. That is, Raptor Hybrid offers the same leather interior with suede inserts. New paddle shifters are a must, as is a new and larger sunroof. Finally, customers will surely welcome additional technology upgrades and higher safety ratings.
Motor
Back to the leaked list of engines that will power the upcoming F-150 pickup truck. The list includes six engine options. As for the Ford Raptor Hybrid, this version will ride on a new 3.5-liter V6 and work with a hybrid setup. Exact information is not yet available, but you should expect incredible fuel efficiency and strong performances.
As for the rest of the engine lineup, the new 3.0-liter turbodiesel V6 is also a mystery in terms of power figures. A 5.0-liter V8 Coyote and 3.3-liter V6 gasoline engines are also on offer in the standard F-150 pickup. We will write about Raptor Hybrid and its numbers as soon as Ford releases official specifications. It is important to say that with a 3.0-liter V6 PHEV setup, the Aviator Hybrid SUV produces 494 hp and 630 lb-ft of torque. You should expect similar numbers in the Ford Raptor Hybrid version.
Price and release date
The price of the all-new Ford Raptor Hybrid will be between €55,000 and €60,000. It will be the first Raptor with a hybrid powertrain and it will compete with the Ram Rebel TRX pickup . This version of the legendary pickup will go on sale at the end of the year. Before that, the official debut should take place this summer.
