GMC Hummer EV SUV 2025: Price, consumption, picture, technical data.
The GMC Hummer EV electric pickup was released last fall, and now the accompanying Hummer EV SUV has debuted. It has a similar front to the rear doors, but the rear is shortened and kept closed.

The wheelbase of the newcomer is also smaller – 3218 compared to 3445 mm. The other models are very similar, but technically they are almost twins. Both versions of the new Hammer are assembled at the Detroit-Hamtramck plant.
Like the pickup, the SUV does not have a traditional frame, but is equipped with a rigid structural frame with powerful subframes. The 20-cell traction battery of the Ultium series is safely protected by steel sheets. The battery is integrated into the overall structure in such a way that the car can overcome water obstacles up to 610 mm deep.
The chassis design gives the SUV exclusive capabilities. The rear thrusters, for example, tilt up to 10 degrees, allowing you to turn around 10.8 meters. You can turn the rear wheels in the same direction as the front wheels, then the car moves sideways like a crab – that’s why this mode was actually called CrabWalk.
The air suspension of the new GMC Hummer EV SUV offers 257 mm of ground clearance as standard. If necessary, this can be increased to 302 mm (Terrain Mode) or even 404 mm (Extract Mode). In the latter case, the body rises to the highest position so that the off-road vehicle can drive on ledges up to 460 mm high. Of course, standard tires must have the necessary grip properties for this.
The modification palette of the closed hammer looks like this:
- Hummer EV2 SUV: two electric motors, power – 634 hp and 10,033 Nm, mileage on one charge – 400 km, conventional chassis with suspension;
- Hummer EV2X SUV: two electric motors, power – 634 hp and 10,033 Nm, range – 480 km;
- Hummer EV3X SUV: three electric motors (one front and two rear), power – 842 hp and 15 590 Nm, power reserve – 480 km, acceleration to 97 km / h – 3.5 seconds;
The Edition One Welcome series is based on the SUV version Hummer EV3X. The technology here is similar, but the equipment is more saturated. The €5,000 (Euro) Extreme Offroad package includes additional underbody protection, reinforced axle shafts, front differential lock, simulated rear differential lock, UltraVision cameras (under the floor), 18-inch wheels with Goodyear Wrangler Territory MT tires.
The vehicle’s battery is recharged via an 800-volt charger with a power of up to 300 kW. It allows you to increase the power reserve by 160 km in 10 minutes.
Salon and equipment
The GMC Hummer EV SUV has two rows of seating with five seats. The rigid roof panels can be easily removed and folded into the front carrier. Access to the rear cargo area is opened by a swinging door on which the spare tire is mounted.
To display on-board information, there is a 12.3-inch instrument panel and a central 13.4-inch touchscreen. The phone can be used as a “digital key” (when the owner is found nearby, the lights turn on and the door locks are unlocked). In expensive trim levels, leather upholstery, electric front seats, advanced acoustics and a number of other options are offered. Among the available electronic assistants, the Super Cruise Track Autopilot with automatic lane change function stands out. On some American roads, it continues to work even when you take your hands off the wheel.
Price GMC Hummer EV SUV
The most sophisticated modification of the GMC Hummer EV SUV Edition One will be the first to hit the market – it costs €105,595 (euros). When ordering the optional Extreme Off-Road package, the cost of such a car increases to €110,595 (euros). Edition 1 vehicles will be available in early . A little later, simpler versions will be available for purchase – the EV3X for €99,995 (euros) and the EV2X for €89,995 (euros). Well, the start of sales of the basic versions of EV2 at a price of €79,995 (euros) is planned already in spring .
