GMC Yukon 2025: Price, consumption, picture, technical data.

After the recent redesign, it is pretty certain that the GMC Yukon will continue in the same. Considering that this is the second year of production of the current generation, it is obvious that major changes will not take place. The best we could see are minor updates that come in the form of new features, color options and similar things.

Otherwise, things remain the same. This large SUV will continue to deliver the same level of quality that is evident in various aspects. For example, it offers an attractive, robust design that is perfectly combined with the beautifully designed interior. The cabin is also very spacious, while the cargo volume is incredible. In addition, we like the range of capable powertrain options, while the list of standard and available features is quite long.

Since no significant changes are expected for next year, we assume that the launch date is planned for the last quarter of the year.

GMC Yukon redesign

If we talk about the second year of production of the current generation, it is obvious that we will not see anything spectacular. The GMC Yukon will continue in the same way, offering an attractive design based on proven mechanical solutions. However, note that the new chassis setup is more refined and also includes an independent rear suspension, which has a very positive effect on ride quality. In addition, the new model is noticeably lighter compared to the previous model. You will definitely notice it when you get behind the wheel.

Visually, the new generation looks fantastic, so it’s hard to expect anything new for next year, even in terms of color options. Of course, the Denali trim continues with a variety of unique styling solutions, but it’s not the only one with exclusive features. There’s also the AT4 model , which looks unique and is also equipped with off-road hardware.

Again, we don’t expect any major changes. The recent redesign has improved the interior considerably, and there’s really nothing to complain about. The overall quality of the interior is much better than before. The materials are nice, as is the fin & finish. Additionally, we like the dashboard design, which comes in two layouts. Standard models come with a dashboard that features a tablet-like infotainment screen, while the Denali model uses a more premium integrated unit.

While the overall quality is pretty good, the best thing about this cabin is the space. There’s a tremendous amount of passenger room in all three rows, and eight adults can fit in easily. Cargo space is even more impressive, offering 25.5 cubic feet of space behind the third-row seats, 72.6 cubic feet behind the second row, and 122.9 cubic feet with the second and third rows folded down.

Characteristics

Next year might bring some new things in terms of standard equipment. Still, we’re pretty sure most things will stay the same, so all models should come standard with extras like tri-zone climate control, keyless entry, 10.2-inch touchscreen, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, six speakers, satellite radio, HD radio, a Wi-Fi hotspot, six USB ports, and Bluetooth. Additionally, you can get things like a panoramic sunroof, sliding center console, navigation, etc.

When it comes to safety features, the current model comes standard with a rearview camera, rear seat reminder, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, front pedestrian braking, and front and rear parking sensors. Optionally, you can get a head-up display, adaptive cruise control, blind spot monitoring, lane keep assist, lane departure warning, rear cross traffic alert, rearview mirror, pedestrian alert, etc.

GMC Yukon Engines

The GMC Yukon will continue with three familiar engine options. Base versions will continue to use a familiar 5.3-liter V8. It makes around 355 horsepower and 383 pound-feet of torque. While it has more than enough power to move this SUV effortlessly, more ambitious drivers can also choose a larger 6.2-liter V8 that’s good for around 420 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque.

Finally, there’s the recently introduced 3.0-liter V6 turbodiesel that makes around 277 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque. The latter is why it moves this big SUV effortlessly despite the obvious lack of power. All three engines come with a 10-speed automatic transmission.

GMC Yukon Release Date and Price

We expect the GMC Yukon sometime in the last quarter of the year with a starting price of around €51,000 (Euros). The competition is quite tough and includes models like Ford Expedition , Toyota Sequoia , Nissan Armada SUV .
