Honda Jazz 2025: Price, consumption, picture, technical data.
It seems that the facelifted Honda Jazz is coming our way. The vehicle will receive its first recognition and first presentation in Japan, but this was even spoiled by the leaked photos that came from the company’s website. In fact, the release date for the car is said to be in a month, and it was supposed to be a surprise reveal in which Honda would show how they revamped the car for the first time.
Honda Jazz
But things didn’t go according to plan as the photos made it to the public and are now all over the internet. We took the opportunity and freedom to use this situation to create a review and give our own opinions about the future Honda Jazz model.

Based on the given photos of the upcoming Honda Jazz for the model year, the vehicle will feature various types of updates. The most notable are the changes to the front end of the car, where the vehicle has updated some parts and pieces of the front fascia, but also has some work done to the rear end of the car. But as far as the specs for the cars are concerned, we are significantly lacking in them. There are some rumors and certain statements that help us understand what powertrain the vehicle will use and what its performance will be.
Probably the most sumptuous part of the Honda Jazz is that its ability to help you move both people and luggage is exquisite. The model still has its familiar boxy shape that allows it to offer the clearance and loading capacity that will help you pack any amount of luggage you have and have prepared for the trip. The car looks really pleasant and will probably be a really good addition to the Honda brand.
The Honda Fit model is already sold in America, but no updates have been announced for it. Since they are basically the same car, with only certain differences that differentiate the cars based on the market they are sold in, we expect the Fit to receive similar updates, or at least a styling based on the one we have here. This will be known at some point in the future, but for now, let’s focus on the Honda Jazz model.
When is the release date planned?
The upcoming Honda Jazz has only recently been leaked, so there is not much information about the release date. However, since the first presentation is still scheduled for June this year, we can only hope that it will be available later in the year. But since the vehicle looks pretty well prepared, we will not take too long to get it. Probably the third quarter of the year is the most suitable time for the release.
The Jazz car will make its first debut in the Japanese market, as we expected. There have been no reports for other markets, but since the Jazz is making an appearance in many Asian markets, we’re sure it will just keep going here. The Australian version will surely follow suit, as they are the same, but the Honda Jazz cars in Thailand are a bit different, so they may come a little later.
Has the price been announced yet?
Unfortunately, the leaked images of the Honda Jazz are the only part that has been leaked. The price is not yet known and we are trying to get it very soon. The model will go on sale within the year but the prices are not specified with the released images that we have now. As far as we are informed and also based on the number of updates and changes that the car has received, we expect a starting price of $15,000 for the base trims, which could go up to around $22,000. All in all, this is certainly the price we expect and it is unlikely to go beyond that.
A much cooler look
Since we don’t have much to go on when it comes to the engine of the Honda Jazz, we assume that the model will simply carry over the powertrains. There may be some improvements and we mainly expect them to add something to the fuel efficiency, which will mainly help the car in its position in the market and against the rivals. The current engine is Honda’s 1.3-liter naturally aspirated i-VTEC petrol engine, which offers 101 hp of power and 123 Nm of torque. Honda’s designers have not made any new advances regarding this car, so it is better if they try to improve this engine now and not think about the future. Another and probably better option would be for them to change the engine altogether.
In terms of transmission options, you have two at your disposal and you can choose between a CVT automatic transmission or a six-speed manual transmission. Our opinion is the latter as the car’s shifting ability is very simple and easy. In fact, Honda has already proven that they are capable of doing manual transmissions well so this one is no exception and it can deliver a guaranteed win for this model.
0-62 mph per hour and maximum speed
So, if we transfer the engine of the Honda Jazz, we can also transfer the specs for it. We mean the acceleration and top speed numbers, which are likely to change since no improvements have been mentioned so far. The acceleration specs will differ depending on the trim level, so the base S trim will reach 0-100 km per hour in 11.2 seconds, while the SE does it in 11.3 seconds, which is due to the addition of alloy wheels that this trim comes with. The top EX has the slowest acceleration time, reaching 100 km per hour in 11.5 seconds. When using a CVT system, the time drops to 12.0, 12.2 and 12.3 respectively. But as for the top speed, all models still remain at 118 mph.
Honda Jazz fuel consumption specifications
Unfortunately, things are not going to get any better for the Honda Jazz and the car’s fuel economy. The previous car wasn’t such an economical car and this model will be too. This was the part that most of us expected and wished they could do something to change the brand and make it a better one. Unfortunately, there are no diesel options here nor have they decided to add hybrid powertrains this time. As far as we knew, the S version with CVT has the best ratings as it returns 61.4mpg and 106g/km of CO2 emissions. Both the S and SE with manual shifter are rated at 56.5mpg and emit 116g/km of CO2 while the top EX only manages 55.4mpg and 120g/km.
Still one of the safer cars on the market
What we knew about the Honda Jazz model was that it would return with exceptional safety features. This is a type of car that had a very good rating in terms of safety and was really manageable. Honda has always been known for providing top safety, not only for this car but for others as well. The current model was rated all five stars in the Euro NCAP crash test and these results are likely to remain the same for the upcoming car. The Driver Assistance Safety Package will make a return appearance and all trim levels except the base S will enjoy the advanced package that the car can now have. Within the package, the vehicle is expected to come with traffic sign recognition, lane departure warning and forward collision warning as standard.
Dimensions of the Honda Jazz
The Honda Jazz has received a designing, although it is not really a small one, they still decided to keep the same size of the car. It was not expected to grow this time and the designers decided to keep it completely the same. This will not tamper with any of the stated specifications or facts about the car and it will just remain as competent and good-looking as before. The full length of the car is 3996 mm, the width extends to 1694 mm, the height is 1524 mm, while the ground clearance is 135 mm and the total weight is 1095.
Competing models in the segment
There are a number of cars in the segment that the Honda Jazz faces. Mostly, these are all familiar faces that people have seen and are already used to. But many of them had an edge over the Jazz. But let’s face it, the Jazz can also pull its own weight and make some of its own offerings. What the segment offers to the users are similar cars, which mainly include the Volkswagen Polo, Renault Clio, Suzuki Swift and Kia Rio models. Some of them have different gear shifters to save fuel while others have better infotainment and more connectivity features and capabilities. However, the new version will solve many of the resulting problems and fix the issues. So, we expect the Honda Jazz to sell much better this time.
