Honda Prologue 2025: Price, consumption, picture, technical data.
Thanks to a new partnership with General Motors, Honda will unveil an electric vehicle called the model year Honda Prologue. Honda hasn’t released much information about the vehicle yet, but we expect the Prologue to take the form of a compact or midsize SUV. It will use the same Ultium battery packs as future GM EVs, including the Cadillac Lyriq and GMC Hummer EV .
SUV Honda Accord
If the Prologue includes the same 100 kWh battery as the Lyriq, expect a range of about 300 miles per charge. Although the platform and powertrains are being developed by GM, Honda will be responsible for the Prologue’s body and interior; luxury brand Acura is also expected to offer a version of the Prologue, but we haven’t heard any details yet.
What’s new ?
The Prologue is on track for a on-sale date, so we expect to hear more about the new model closer to its debut, which is set for late .
Honda hasn’t released any information on the Prologue’s pricing or trim levels yet, but we expect the new model to start at around €45,000 (Euros) and go up from there. Honda’s traditional LX, EX, EX-L and Touring trim levels will likely show up here, but we won’t know which represents the best value until those details are released.
Also Honda is going through a great revolution and is announcing Honda Electric Motorcycles which will be released soon.
Price
It’s too early to know how much the Honda Prologue will cost, but we expect it to start well under €50,000. To be competitive with an increasingly crowded field, a Honda electric SUV for the model year could start at around €45,000. Range probably won’t be under 200 miles; we expect at least one model to have a range of at least 270 miles on a charge. But again, it’s early days. We’ll update this page as soon as we have more information.
