Hyundai Genesis 2025: Price, consumption, picture, technical data.
Everything seems to be going well in South Korea, as the Hyundai Genesis is slowly becoming the best choice for anyone looking for a good sedan. For the same amount of money, you can get either a base offering from a reputable European or American manufacturer, or a fully equipped Hyundai Genesis.
genesis
Hyundai began producing the Genesis in 2009 and it has never looked so good. You can only imagine the silence in the cabin and the most beautiful hand-crafted environment to relax as you drive home from work. Dim city lights reflecting off the metallic black exterior of your car as you glide through the streets.
With these comfortable seats you already feel at home. Sudden roar of the engine as you accelerate, the rolling of the road beneath you and that smooth, almost imperceptible deceleration to the stop. You have all this and you don’t need to own oil fields, companies or small countries.
In this review we will take a closer look at the overall design, engine and price.
Design
If you look at the exterior of the Hyundai Genesis, trust me, you will recognize the shape and style of many other high-end vehicles. You can see the side curves of the BMW 5 Series, the VW shape, the Audi muscle, the elegance of the Mercedes, etc. Only the wheels need to be changed, as they seem too small for the dimensions of the car. At least the wheels of the V-6 version. And the car is really big.
I would also like to mention that there are no Hyundai signs anywhere other than at the rear. Everywhere there is only Genesis with its unique logo.
inner space
I don’t know about you, but I love the spaciousness and elegance in the car and I can’t go wrong with the interior of the Hyundai Genesis.
Starting at the back, you have a very neat trunk that opens automatically if you stand behind the car with the key for a few seconds (which is very convenient when you have something in your hand and can’t open the trunk yourself), heated and ventilated seats with thin leather, panoramic sunroof, electric shutters on the rear windows, twelve different settings for your front seats, natural wood upholstery on the dashboard, 9.2-inch touchscreen display for navigation, Lexicon audio system with 17 speakers and higher recognized as the safest car in the world with nine airbags, etc. It has everything you need.
Engine from Hyundai Genesis
Under the hood, you have two options for the Hyundai Genesis engine. The first is a 3.8-liter V6 engine with 318 horsepower and the second is a 5.0-liter V8 engine with 420 horsepower.
But you’ll get better fuel economy with V-6, so you should probably stick with that. Using V-6 will get you 22 mpg if you use the regular 8-speed automatic transmission in the combine, but if you have AWD (which will be offered starting this year), you’ll get 19 mpg.
If you have V-8, you’ll get 18 mpg. So yes, AWD is good for handling but bad for budget. The car handles very well on the road. It’s a really balanced car for city, highway, and suburbs.
This electric steering is pretty good, you get the impression of having total control of the vehicle. Acceleration can be very smooth, but if you step on it, the car will literally fly like a sports sedan. But don’t think this is a sports sedan. It’s not made for that.
If you corner a little faster, things will fall apart. Because of the comfort of the car and good acceleration, you should pay attention to the meter because you can accelerate from 0-60 very quickly, so pay attention to that.
It goes from 0-100 in 6.3 seconds and the top speed is 130 mph, which is really good for a luxury car.
Hyundai Genesis Price
There are three possibilities for a Hyundai Genesis price. A base price of €38,950 (Euro), signature €42,950 (Euro), tech €46,450 (Euro) and ultimate for €49,950 (Euro). Even the last one is cheaper than a top-of-the-range car with everything stripped off, so this one is quite a bargain.
