Hyundai Palisade 2025: Price, consumption, picture, technical data.

The recent launch has brought the largest and most luxurious Hyundai model we have ever seen, but that does not mean that the Korean manufacturer will stop there. For the second year of production, several more interesting novelties are in store. The first thing we should mention is that the company is preparing a new trim level for the flagship, the Calligraphy. This will be the top version of the Hyundai Palisade and the biggest novelty full of new features.

SUV Palisade

Other than that, we see a familiar layout. This mid-size SUV arrived last year and brought with it something we’ve never seen from Hyundai before. It features some pretty attractive styling, an upscale cabin, and a ton of standard equipment. On top of that, the cabin is very spacious and can accommodate seven or eight passengers. Finally, there’s a pretty powerful V6 engine under the hood. The Hyundai Palisade should hit the market sometime later this year.

Changes

Since it is a fairly fresh model that arrived just a year ago, there is no doubt that the Hyundai Palisade will maintain the same overall layout. This includes both mechanics and aesthetics, but that does not mean that there is no room for major novelties. One of the most important things will be the addition of a new trim level called Calligraphy. This will be a high-end version of the SUV that takes luxury to the next level.

Although the exact details are yet to be revealed, we are pretty sure that this model will come with some exclusive styling solutions. You can also count on a host of premium features. These include Nappa leather, heated and ventilated seats, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, a 10.3-inch touchscreen, etc. Another important element is the self-leveling rear suspension, which is also a standard feature.

Inner

In terms of interior design, we don’t expect any particular changes for next year. Of course, the new Hyundai Palisade will come with premium materials. Despite this, all versions of this SUV offer impressive overall quality. This is something we haven’t seen from the Korean manufacturer before. The materials are super fine, while the build quality is also quite impressive. In addition, the seats are massive and supportive, while we especially like the fact that the first two rows are very spacious, while the third row also seems decent.

Given the size of the model, it’s no surprise that the cargo area is also very spacious. You can expect 18 cubic feet behind the third row, while the cargo space behind the second row goes up to 48.5 cubic feet. Finally, the total cargo capacity is up to 86.4 cubic feet in total, which is a really respectable number for the class.

Characteristics

While the new Calligraphy model will come with pretty much everything Hyundai offers, the rest of the lineup is expected to continue in the same vein. This means base models come with extras like a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, 8-inch touchscreen, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, three USB ports in the front row, two USB ports in the second row, and Bluetooth. That’s pretty impressive, but higher trim levels also add extras like dual-zone automatic climate control, proximity keyless entry, push-button start, single or dual-panel sunroof, puddle lights, ambient lighting, household-style power outlet, navigation, 10.25-inch touchscreen, satellite radio, HD radio, wireless device charging, premium audio system.

When it comes to safety, all models come with extras like forward collision warning, forward automatic emergency braking, pedestrian detection, rear occupant warning, lane departure warning, lane centering assist, driver attention monitoring, rearview camera and much more. The list of options is also quite long.

Motor

Under the hood, things will remain the same. The Hyundai Palisade will continue with the same 3.8-liter V6 engine that has a maximum output of 291 horsepower. That’s a pretty respectable amount of power that ensures pretty strong acceleration. The engine is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission that does a pretty good job of providing a smooth ride. When it comes to fuel economy, you can count on around 19 mpg in the city and 26 mpg on the highway. These are pretty average numbers for the class.

Some sources also suggest the possibility of seeing a hybrid version of this SUV. Despite this, the company is still quiet on the matter.

Release date and price

Although the new trim level is on the way, we don’t expect to see Hyundai Palisade much sooner than usual. So expect it sometime in the second half of the year, probably in the last quarter. Base models should cost around €32,000 (US$39,000), while the new Calligraphy trim will probably cost around €50,000 (US$54,000). Some of the competitors include models like Honda Pilot , Toyota Highlander , Ford Explorer SUV .
