Kia Carens 2025: Price, consumption, picture, technical data.

The Kia Carens was originally launched in 1999 and has been a minivan since its launch, but now the Korean brand has released the fourth generation of the model and turned it into an SUV, which is not a big surprise considering the success of this type of vehicle.

The Kia Carens was unveiled today in India, where it will be launched in the first quarter of next year, although we do not currently know in which other markets it will be sold. However, we doubt its possible appearance in Europe.

Technical details

Its length is 4,540 millimetres (178.7 in), width is 1,800 mm (71 in) and height is 1,700 mm (67 in) and its wheelbase is 2,780 mm (109.4 in), which is the longest in its segment. This makes it slightly longer than its predecessor in overall length, but the wheelbase has been significantly increased to make the cabin more spacious. It has roughly the same width as the model it replaces, but is slightly taller.

Exterior of the interior

Not only has the exterior been completely redesigned, the cabin has also been radically changed. It looks much more modern and reminiscent of current Kia models and combines a fully digital driver display with a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system. You still have separate controls for the climate settings as well as quick access to other functions thanks to traditional buttons.

With 64-color LED ambient lighting, an air purifier and ventilated front seats, the new Carens is significantly more sophisticated than the old model. It also supports wireless updating and an eight-speaker Bose audio system.

As well as a sunroof, selectable driving modes and a set of standard safety packages: hill start assist, brake assist, hill descent brake control, and more. For an additional charge, it can be equipped with front parking sensors and automatic windshield wipers.

Prices for Kia Carens

It is expected to cost between 17,000 and 23,500 euros.
