Kia Ceed SW PHEV 2025: Price, consumption, picture, technical data.

Kia has taken the covers off the new Ceed SW and the Proceed has made many changes to the exterior, interior, equipment list and mechanicals. The Kia Ceed SW and Kia Proceed will enter the production lines in August and will be launched in Europe in the fourth quarter of .

design

The exterior design of the Kia Ceed SW and Kia Proceed has been slightly revised with a redesigned tiger nose grille, while the PHEV has a closed grille with contrasting color accents. There are new full-LED headlights, vertical dual daytime running lights in the shape of three arrows and modules for integrated fog lights.

On the side, the new Kia Proceed features two large air intakes through the front bumper and new alloy wheels – 16-inch silver alloy wheels for the base models and 17-inch glossy black alloy wheels for the GT-Line. Both vehicles get a re-profiled trunk design with new LED combination taillights, with the new Kia logo in the center.

Inner

Customers can now choose from nine different upholstery options for Kia Ceed SW and Kia Proceed, including black suede seats with grey stitching on GT-Line. GT-Line variants also get a new leather-trimmed gear lever. The cabin looks modern throughout with a revised 10.25-inch frameless touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple Carplay and Android Auto and a new 12.3-inch TFT instrument console with improved graphics and four different customizable themes that can also change depending on the weather and time of day.

Features

The Kia Ceed SW and Kia Proceed now come with an improved Kia Connect smartphone app that offers features such as Bluetooth search via voice recognition, third-party calendar link with navigation, Valet mode to locate the vehicle, start/stop battery charging and last-mile navigation with augmented reality. Users can now back up their Kia Connect settings via the cloud and transfer settings via a new user profile transfer feature. This allows them to switch to other Kia Connect-equipped vehicles with exactly the same pre-stored settings.

Other key features include a power driver’s seat with memory function, a JBL sound system with eight speakers, ventilated front seats, heated front and rear seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, power folding second row seats and a power tailgate.

Security

Both the Kia Ceed SW and the Kia Proceed are now blessed with a whole new suite of advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) which include Blind Spot Collision Avoidance Assist (BCA), Driver Attention Warning (DAW+) with Vehicle Departure Warning and Traffic Sign Recognition, Rear Collision Avoidance Assist (RCCA), Forward Collision Avoidance Assist (FCA), Lane Keeping Assist, Intelligent Speed ​​Limit Warning, Manual Speed ​​Limit Assist, High Beam Assist and Lane Following Assist (LFA) with Smart Cruise Control (SCC). The car also gets a rear view monitor and a safe exit warning system (SEW).

Drivetrain

In addition to the conventional ICE engines, the Kia Ceed range will be equipped with a plug-in hybrid powertrain, a combination of a 1.6-litre GDI petrol engine and an 8.9 kWh battery pack. While the maximum power and torque of the powertrain in combined mode are 141 PS and 265 Nm respectively, the car can travel 57 km in pure electric mode. The powertrain gets a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission as standard, with the vehicle offering three different driving modes – Eco, Comfort and Sport.
