Lincoln Continental 2025: Price, consumption, picture, technical data.
Here, after a series of rumors, we finally get to see in person what the North Star vehicle has to offer in the form of Lincoln Continental . This is practically, if I am not mistaken, the tenth generation of Lincoln Continental.
Release date and price
Production is scheduled to begin in . However, it is more than obvious that this car is far from being just a concept car. It is more like the production-ready car. Ford is not easily revealing information about the release date and price of the Lincoln Continental . So, again, nothing is certain. We can assume that this kind of luxury could easily push the price up.
Review of Lincoln Continental
It started way back in the 1940s. This first generation of Lincoln Continental was designed for Henry Ford’s son Edsel Ford. It was a convertible style, a huge car. The external spare tire was mounted at the rear end.
Throughout the history of this car, there have been all kinds of designers, ideas and principles that guided these men and women behind the drawing board. However, in the end, the final product never lacked comfort, luxury and power. Every time the new version comes out, something changes, following the crumbs of global opinions and the needs of the car markets.
Everything was on track, but it suddenly stopped in 2002. All plans were abandoned until this year because of the global economic crisis. Suddenly it’s as if nothing had happened in the last decade.
We have already done some research and written about this vehicle in the past. That little bit of research of ours got nothing wrong, and we got almost everything right, and yet despite our imaginations, we still couldn’t imagine what we saw this week at the New York Car Show.
The most important thing is that you should not believe everything you see on the internet. There were some images with the vehicle that was supposed to represent the Town Car version of Lincoln Continental, but rest assured that this is also a concept car. Maybe in a few years we can expect the Town Car, but for now this is more than enough.

As soon as you approach the car with a key, it recognizes you and welcomes you with LED headlights and the North Star symbol that lights up the car like a spaceship in style. Doors are said to have no handles and everything is automated. It uses a type of e-latch system that is said to make the car doors quieter.
This made the exterior design even sleeker. In fact, every single detail on the outside, from headlights, taillights, huge 21-inch rims, metallic blue paint, and the panoramic roof, was made to show the luxury of this car even before we could get in and actually see what it really looks like from the inside.
I’ve heard some rumors about spy photos (featuring the black new Lincoln Continental), but personally I haven’t seen any such pictures.

As if it weren’t enough, the interior of the Lincoln Continental amuses you to the point where you’ll want to turn on the ignition and drive to an unknown destination. Just drive and never get out.
When I was little, I would sneak into my grandfather’s Caddy and just pretend I could drive. I wanted to do that in that car, but that security was too much for me. I mean, one thing is to write about all the leather we expected, but that was ridiculous.
I had an impression of total commodity and freedom at the same time. There were no cheap plastic buttons, although there were a lot of buttons. It even has a control display in the central part of a dashboard.
Back seats were like vacationing in a presidential suite. At the push of a button, the aluminum table automatically comes out from the center section where you can place your champagne glasses. And the front seats have 30 adjustable positions! The seat is practically designed to conform to the shape of your body. If that’s not a consolation, I don’t know what is.
Specifications
Apparently, the specifications for the Lincoln Continental are currently incomplete. Every time we asked about the power or transmission, we only received the answer: “It’s a concept”.
So. Yes, information is still incomplete in some segments. What we know for sure is that the exclusive version of the 3.0-liter EcoBoost V6 engine will be used. There will be automatic cruise control assist and a pedestrian detection system.
They actually say something about the fully automated vehicle, but at the moment that kind of talk is still science fiction.
We expect the 9-speed automatic transmission combined with AWD, but every single person out there has their own opinion on this matter, so we will remain neutral on this one.
