Lincoln Nautilus 2025: Price, consumption, picture, technical data.
The Lincoln Nautilus comes unchanged. It is the last crossover to replace the old MK nomenclature in Ford’s premium offering. Before the Nautilus, we saw the Aviator and Corsair, and the Navigator is the longest-serving SUV in the lineup. The new vehicle could borrow some features from its bigger siblings? Does this mean the vehicle will become a hybrid? Maybe. We’ll find out soon.
SUV Nautilus
Two powertrains are already available for this model. Ford borrowed its latest addition, a 2.7-liter V6, while the turbocharged four-pot is also an option. A new trim level will be one of the updates, as the current version only offers three packages. Of course, the Black Label is a unique upgrade for all Lincoln vehicles.
The favorite features of the Lincoln Nautilus are definitely premium audio, available on higher trim levels, and the CoPilot360 system. The automaker is betting on a more autonomous driving system, and the Ford Mach E SUV will be the first all-electric vehicle in the family. Soon we could see the first Lincoln EV crossover SUV.
Equipment variants
There are three trim levels available for the current version of the midsize SUV. Well, the Black Label is the class of its own, but we still consider it part of the lineup. Until the new versions arrive, the base model for the Lincoln Nautilus will continue to offer turbo-four engines and 10-way adjustable front buckets. In addition, the Standard Edition will come with synthetic leather for the seats, as well as Apple CarPlay and Android Auto availability. Other notable features of the entry-level model include the power liftgate and the CoPilot360 safety package.
If you’re willing to spend another $7,500, you get the Reserve package with real leather instead of synthetic. Also, seats get heating and ventilation functions. Hands-free operation has been added for the tailgate, and the package also includes navigation, Revel sound system, and a panoramic sunroof.
Black Label
While the four-cylinder engine is standard on two previous trims, the Lincoln Nautilus Black Label uses a twin-turbo V6 with 335 horsepower. The CoPilot360 system is enhanced by the adaptive cruise controls. The adaptive suspension improves the driving experience and cabin comfort. Huge 21-inch wheels are the exterior highlights, and Revel makes its offering even more impressive with a 19-speaker in-cabin system. These are just a few reasons why the Black Label is the most luxurious model in the lineup, and its starting MSRP says a lot about the features offered.
Engines
The base powertrain for the mid-size two-row SUV is a 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-four. The small displacement boasts an incredible 250 horsepower, breaking the myth that only the V6 can power such a large vehicle. It also adds 280 lb-ft of torque, good for 2,000 pounds of towing capacity. Turbochargers make the four-pot unit consume more fuel. With front-wheel drive, fuel economy is 21/26 mpg. All-wheel drive becomes the alternative for the Reserve package, where we also find a V6 engine.
In this case, a 2.7L unit can produce 335 hp and 380 lb-ft of torque. Converted for towing capacity, models with this powertrain can tow 3,500 pounds. Well, the V6 is only paired with a four-wheel drive system. An eight-speed transmission is a power router, and both engines require premium gasoline. The start/stop system is useful but sometimes annoying, and drivers can run it down.
Nautilus vs Aviator
The Lincoln Nautilus and Aviator are both mid-size models. However, the second one is almost 10 inches longer, which provides more space for passengers. The company used the extra space to place the third row of seats. Also, Aviator uses a larger V6 powertrain to produce more power. However, the main difference is in the hybrid engine. Starting this year, the new SUV will compete with Acura MDX and Lexus RX . However, we expect a similar unit to take place under the hood of the next Nautilus SUV.
Lincoln Nautilus Prices
The luxury class has never been more crowded. The downside to the Nautilus is the lack of a three-row configuration. Buyers typically opt for the compact crossovers when they’re concerned about fuel economy, or a seven-seater when space is needed.
The base SUV is in the premium waters. The standard package is not as expensive as Aviator. The MSRP starts at €41,000. The Reserve version offers more options. Before upgrades, it costs €48,500. All-wheel drive will add €2,500 as well as the V6 engine. The Lincoln Nautilus Black Label will cost you the same as the full-size model, especially if you are not satisfied with the standard configuration. Three interior themes are available for this version: Chalet, Gala and Thoroughbred.
