Demand for the all-new Lordstown Endurance may not be that high yet, but keep an eye on this model. It’s an all-electric pickup truck, actually a newcomer. Lordstown Motors, based in Lordstown, Ohio, announced one of the former General Motors plants. The new model is in the works and will cost just over €50,000 (Euro).

Pre-orders have already started, and the Endurance pickup will surely attract attention once it arrives. According to the company itself, a new model will be launched in the last quarter of . The main goal is to compete with Tesla Cybertruck . For this reason, Endurance must offer amazing styling, modern interior design, and similar or better performance or driving range. Design
It seems like manufacturers are trying to deliver a fully futuristic or fully retro design. It’s a risk, and not even one automaker has thought of finding a balance between these. The upcoming Lordstown Endurance is another pickup truck that will look futuristic. On the other hand, it doesn’t look weird like Tesla Cybertruck. The side profile reminds us of the Ford F-150 EV for some reason . Of course, the design looks cleaner and the shape is a bit different.
The closed grill up front looks unique and wears a Lordstown badge. The headlights are impressive and the side mirrors are perhaps too big for our taste. The lines are perfect and the wheels fit perfectly into the whole picture. We like the styling of the Endurance and nothing seems that dramatic or aggressive. Still, we look at renderings and the reality could be completely different.
Interior
Interior details are currently unavailable. No doubt, the new Lordstown Endurance will look very unique and modern. If you want to compete with Cybertruck, you need to deliver something that sets you apart from the competition. Endurance will come with a large display and many touch-sensitive features, but it will look more traditional than Tesla Cybertruck.
Powertrain Details
There isn’t much information about the powertrain at this time. However, the Lordstown Endurance will come with a four-motor configuration, with a single unit driving each wheel. Lordstown said this setup reduces the number of moving parts and lowers maintenance costs. Unlike Tesla, Lordstown will not build its own powertrain.
The electric motors are made by Workhorse, a company working on brand new all-electric vans. Some reports predict a range of around 1300 miles per charge. The Endurance pickup offers excellent traction, zero emissions, and the fleet-proven technology. It’s hard to predict a truck’s acceleration or overall performance.
Price and release date
