Mercedes-AMG E63 2025: price, consumption, picture, technical data.

There is news about the announcement of the Mercedes-AMG E63. It seems that Mercedes is continuing to revamp its entire lineup. There have been a number of vehicles that have already done so and that have undergone changes not only in styling but also in their names. The AMG E63 is another model that has received a new name, as have many of Daimler’s AMG sub-brands, namely the AMG C63 and AMG GT.

What the changes made to the Mercedes-AMG E63 will focus on are updates to the Ca’s chassis, a completely redesigned interior, and a new type of engine matted under the hood. We’ve created a test to help you find out how much the model has changed for the better, making the model lighter but also stiffer.

This model simultaneously marks the new generation vehicle of this brand and is intended to replace the previous one in an excellent way. This one can be especially important since it will have to defend itself against the announced all-wheel drive M and against competitors such as Cadillac and Audi, who have yet to reveal their game in all this. Exterior view

The Mercedes-AMG E63 will take the exterior styling of the current E-Class model that Mercedes-Benz puts out. As seen at the Detroit Auto Show and as is the case with many current E-Class models, the AMG E63 will have a shape like a larger C-Class with only minor differences. So we can actually say that the E63 will be very similar to the C63. What makes the difference between these two cars is a longer wheelbase, different headlights, a new rear bumper, a slightly modified roofline, the taillights will also be changed and thicker C-pillars. However, the biggest and most important new feature is the heavily revised upper character lines that this model gets.

However, there are some parts that will help the Mercedes-AMG E63 stand out from its E-Class counterparts. The difference will be in the reshaped front and rear bumper parts, with new side skirts and a similar grille but with a different pattern. There will be a motorsport-inspired rear diffuser at the rear of the car, as the rear also gets three slats with chrome quad exhaust tips and integrated tailgate spoiler. The front fenders are also new and wider, which also leads to a wider front track and some lightweight sporty wheels.

Interior

The interior of the Mercedes-AMG E63 will not bring many surprises, as it will continue the same design as the previous models from AMG. The fact is that the new model will borrow many new elements from the C63 model, but they will be built on the basis of the S63. This is evident in the fact that the E-Class and S-Class models have a dashboard that has a similar design, as both have smooth styling and the same positioning of the air conditioning vents.

Most of the cockpit will be the same as the E-Class, but it will be enhanced with sportier elements. These sporty features include a bespoke instrument cluster with a 200-mph speedometer, a flat-bottomed steering wheel, carbon fiber and aluminum trim, and of course, bolstered seats wrapped in leather. And of course, what AMG brand could do without an AMG Dynamic Select switch and an AMG-exclusive analog clock. There will be an expanded range of options that will range from new seats and stitching as well.

The best thing about the Mercedes-AMG E63 refresh is that it will get a brand new all-wheel drive system. The 5.5-liter twin-turbocharged V-8 will no longer be used as the model will now continue with a 4.0-liter V-8, the same as the one found in the Mercedes-Benz AMG GT.

The specifications were kept for the model’s release date, but since they were leaked, they now stand at a whopping 563 horses and 553 pound-feet of torque for the E63 and 604 horsepower and 627 pound-feet for the E63 S version. The E63 does 0-62 mph in 3.7 seconds, while the E63 S can accelerate to 62 mph in 3.5 seconds. Top speed remains the same at 155 mph as the car the engine is borrowed from. Models come standard with 4MATIC all-wheel drive and a nine-cog automatic, which is said to improve the vehicle’s fuel economy.

Release date and price

Expect the Mercedes-AMG E63 model to arrive in mid-, as there are still a few more things to be sorted out and the release date cannot be expected any sooner. The price for the base model is set at €93,600 (Euro), while the E63 S model rises to €100,600 (Euro).
