Design

The exterior design of the Mercedes-Benz C-Class Cabriolet looks good. In fact, this is thanks to the “Sensual Purity” design language that has been integrated and combined with the cues of the last convertible model from Mercedes, namely the S-Class, resulting in a more than great design. With the top down, the C-Class Cabriolet has similar dimensions to the coupe version, with a small difference in height of 0.2 inches.

The front end of the car features a standard grille that is complemented by LED headlights. The rear also has the LED taillights that are a standard for the model. There is some chrome on the windshield trim the A-pillars and beltline but this model sits 0.6 inches lower than the sedan version but also features some 18-inch wheels.

As everyone expected the model to get an electro-hydraulic convertible metal roof, Mercedes went classic and added a fabric rag that slightly reduces the car’s curb weight. The top is made of multi-layered materials and can be retracted in 20 seconds, at a speed of 31 mph. Available finishes include black, which is the standard choice, as well as brown, dark blue or dark red, but a total of 12 paint options are available.

Interior changes

The interior of the Mercedes-Benz C-Class Cabriolet is actually more based on the base version of the C-Class models. It uses the layout of the sedan version, which includes an information display in the instrument cluster, five air vents with high climate control, a large touchscreen on the center console and seat adjustment buttons on the doors.
