Now the release date is set for mid-, marking the start of sales of the known vehicles and their newly updated car.
What will the price be?
Since the Mercedes-Benz E350 model will be launched a little later after the release of the other Mercedes-Benz E-Class, the price of this car has not yet been determined. However, we can say that we expect the base MSRP to be around $55,000. The E-Class models will cost between $52,000 and $72,000, depending on the trim.
How has the exterior improved?
The Mercedes-Benz E350 will adopt the latest design language that Mercedes uses to prepare all future cars. The car will look similar to the latest C-Class models or the S-Class cars. The only difference will be the size, which will be somewhere in between. Although the front seems to be a little unique for the E350 models, the rear is completely the same for all cars, with only minor changes and of course the dimensions that set them apart.
However, the biggest difference is in the interior of the car, where the Mercedes-Benz E350 adds a new character line. The line runs between the greenhouse and the side skirts. This adds a bit more sportiness to the new design and makes the car more appreciative. Some other added features are new LED taillights with lightning trails. They come with dimming features and there are also blue fiber optics for the headlights, which is a kind of unique feature of this car.
Inside the Mercedes-Benz E350
The interior of the Mercedes-Benz E350 offers a luxurious environment, mostly copied from the S-Class models. The instrument cluster comes with analog dials and has a 7-inch touchscreen and a 12-inch display. This also depends on the trim level, but you can add larger ones if you want. We can also use the touch-sensitive steering wheel, which recently made its debut and will be part of the standard design for the E350. There are certain additions that make the interior unique. These include a Burmester sound system with voice control by Linguatronic, which is available as an option, a Command rotary knob, and interior flash LEDs with energy-saving function.
The car also adds better materials and an interior that has a sportier design. You also get wood trim with open and high gloss finishes. Although the engine range for the E-Class has been set, the Mercedes-Benz E350 will have its own standout engine. We are talking about an E350d engine version that offers 254 hp of power and also allows for better fuel economy. As for the rest of the E-Class models, we have a choice between three gasoline engines and two diesel offerings, all of which will be available for the US market.
0-62 mph per hour and maximum speed
The estimates on the Mercedes-Benz E350 have not been released as the specs are being kept under wraps for a while. We’re looking at a 0-62 mph time of around 5 seconds, but the stats will be confirmed a little later in the year. As for top speed, 130 mph is the most we’ll get.
What is the fuel consumption?
The same goes for the Mercedes-Benz E350’s fuel economy. Although other models have already received a rating, the E350 has not yet released its official stats. We’re likely looking at improved numbers compared to the latest version, but we’re not sure by how much. As estimated by some, the rating for the FWD versions may be 22 mpg city, 30 highway, 25 combined, while the AWD versions will deliver a fuel economy rate of 22/29/24 mpg.
The size and dimensions of the car
If we compare the Mercedes-Benz E350 with some other competing cars, we get a vehicle that is a bit longer but not as wide as the other models. This does not affect the interior space as the passengers will experience plenty of space and comfort inside. The length is 190.0 inches in total while the wheelbase is 113.1 inches. The car is also 73.2 cm wide and has a height of 56.3 cm.
Improved safety for the Mercedes-Benz E350
In terms of safety, the Mercedes-Benz E350 will be a model that can compete with other outstanding vehicles on the market. The model starts by adding advanced features to go with the standard features. There are airbags all over the car, various driver assistance systems that will also help. Perhaps the most interesting additions are the Drive Pilot and Steering Pilot additions. However, if you want advanced safety, you can also choose the Driver Assistance Plus package, which gives you many active and passive safety systems.

But our advice is to stop here and just go with the one we have here. The competition, which includes the Audi A7 and the Aston Marin DB11 , is good, but we think Mercedes has now outdone itself and made an excellent offering with this vehicle.
