Cabin offers more modern touches

The interior details are not available yet. The new Mercedes-Benz X-Class should offer many features that were previewed on the concept. The German automaker is giving one last shot with X-Class pickup and it can’t fail. Inside the cabin, you can expect more luxury than the rest of the competition has to offer. A 5.4-inch touchscreen is offered as standard and Mercedes is already lacking behind its rivals.

On the other hand, the steering wheel, leather upholstery and list of standard equipment are really great. Engine details

Once it arrives, the upcoming Mercedes-Benz X-Class should offer two engine options. Interestingly, both units are diesel. The first version is a 2.3-liter four-cylinder turbodiesel engine. It delivers 187 hp and 405 lb-ft of torque. A seven-speed automatic transmission is available as the only transmission option. In addition, Mercedes will most likely introduce an optional 3.0-liter turbodiesel V6 engine.

This powertrain will produce even more power. On the other hand, fuel efficiency will be significantly lower. However, exact engine specifications are not available at the moment. The optional output will employ the same 7-speed transmission as the standard diesel unit. Finally, the X-Class pickup is equipped with a 4Matic all-wheel drive system, which is standard on all trim levels.
