Mercedes EQA 2025

The EQA concept is another example of the logical development of the Ideal Purity design language: sharp edges and lines have been significantly reduced. One example of the new electrical aesthetic is the light technology with laser fibers.

DESIGN

Here, a laser-activated medium is embedded in the middle of a fiber optic cable. The striking spiral light seal underlines the electrical concept, its design is reminiscent of the copper windings of an electric motor and the animation visualizes electrical impulses.

PERFORMANCE

Two electric motors with a system output that can be increased to over 200 kW thanks to scalable battery components and permanent all-wheel drive ensure impressive dynamic performance. The two drive programs “Sport” and “Sport Plus” offer a different torque distribution from front to rear and enable the selection of individual drive characteristics.
