Engine specifications

The new Chevrolet Captiva will be updated with only one engine option. The release date is not yet set, so there may be more news on the subject. However, expect the 2.4-liter inline-four engine with 182 horsepower to be mounted under the hood of the Captiva. The model is thus capable of 0-100 km per hour acceleration in 9.1 seconds with the FWD and 9.7 seconds with the AWD. With both the AWD and FWD, you get a standard six-speed automatic transmission, which is also part of the setup.

Security

This is where some flaws may arise with the New Chevrolet Captiva as the model has not yet   been NHTSA and IIHS tested. In the past, the model had a fairly standard 4-star rating, which was appropriate for the model at hand. Our view

The latest New Chevrolet Captiva will have some good things to show, but there are a number of features that will still drive fans away. The styling and comfort ratings, as well as the interior space, are something we will live with and will be happy to see for the most part. Even with the lackluster safety features, this car can still score big. But the car still remains a bit slow and slow for the segment where it needs to add more power to be fully competitive. We still believe it is the top model in its respective field, but it may run into problems if the competition comes back with better offerings of their own.
