Nissan Qashqai Sport 2025: Price, consumption, picture, technical data.
Fitting into the narrow niche between the small Kicks and the Qashqai, the Nissan Qashqai Sport is the Japanese automaker’s latest model to undergo an overhaul. While this compact crossover has a quirkier name (Qashqai) in Europe, many things – including its sharp design – should carry over to our market. What it doesn’t have, however, is a hybrid powertrain.
Nissan Qashqai
We expect the U.S. models to have a gasoline-powered four-cylinder engine. After all, Nissan will offer buyers the choice of front- or all-wheel drive. And to complement its new exterior, the Rogue Sport features a modernized cabin with updated infotainment technology. Expect to see the redesigned crossover in dealerships sometime in as a model.
What’s new ?
The Nissan Qashqai Sport will be completely redesigned , with sharper styling and a more modern interior.
Nissan hasn’t released pricing or trim information for the model yet, but we expect the S, SV and SL trims of the outgoing Rogue Sport to be refreshed. Pricing should also remain relatively flat, with the base model starting at around €25,000 (Euros). As soon as we get more information, we’ll update this story.
Engine, transmission and performance
Although other markets will get a hybridized model, the U.S.-spec Nissan Qashqai Sport will likely continue to use a gasoline-powered four-cylinder. We expect Nissan to pair this engine exclusively with a continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT), but will give buyers the option of front- or all-wheel drive.
Interior, comfort and cargo
The new cabin of the Nissan Qashqai Sport looks thoroughly updated, with a more ornately sculpted dashboard, flat-bottomed steering wheel and a tablet-style infotainment display. Photos of the Europe-market model are likely representative of the top-of-the-range SL trim and feature quilted leather upholstery, stitched dashboard and door panels and a digital display.
