Nissan Titan XD 2025: Updates and the return of the diesel engine.
The all-new Nissan Titan XD is set for more drastic upgrades. This pickup truck is currently managing solid sales. However, Titan XD is less popular than expected, which means the latest changes are far from successful. Now Nissan is opting for additional upgrades and that includes bringing back the diesel powertrain.
Pick up Nissan Titan XD
The Titan XD is only available in a crew cab version and a diesel engine will be a great addition. Interestingly, Titan XD is a segment of its own so this model has no real competitor at the moment. The latest changes include unique styling upgrades and various refreshes in the interior. Dimensionally, the Titan XD remains the same so this truck sits somewhere between the half-ton and heavy-duty models.
Titan XD Nismo
We like Nissan’s Nismo treatment. It’s a special package that delivers so many upgrades. The upcoming Nissan Titan XD Nismo could happen, which is very good to hear. Latest reports strongly suggest this model. In this case, the Nismo edition offers various updates. First of all, the appearance of the truck becomes more attractive and sporty. In addition, some parts are more aggressive, especially the side profile and the hood. Larger and more stylish wheels are offered, as well as unique exterior colors. Nissan is yet to officially confirm this variant.
Warrior concept
Another likely outcome for this pickup is an edition based on the Warrior concept. The Nissan Titan XD is a perfect candidate for a sportier or more aggressive special edition. A few weeks ago, some rumors predicted a new twin-turbo V6 engine for the XD model. However, this is another speculation that is yet to be confirmed. On the other hand, the Titan XD will surely arrive with a 5.0-liter V8 diesel engine. This turbodiesel unit can generate 330 hp and up to 555 lb-ft of torque. Diesel provides better fuel economy and towing capacity will also be improved. Of course, the off-road capabilities of the truck will also improve.
Start date and price
Once it arrives, the Nissan Titan XD will cost around €35,000 (Euros). The price could be even higher and this is just our prediction.
