Opel Corsa-e 2025: Price, consumption, picture, technical data.

With the latest generation of the Opel Corsa-e, the OPC sports label has also disappeared. But fans can hope for a hot CD return. British sister company Vauxhall has announced the Corsa-e VXR, so it would be logical for Opel to create an analogue of the OPC. AUTO BILD has already done the preliminary work and drawn the Corsa-e OPC on the computer! (This is how OPC can boot up again!)

Opel Corsa-e

British brand Vauxhall – a former subsidiary of General Motors and sister brand to Holden, prior to its sale to France’s PSA, alongside Germany’s Opel – looks set to revive its VXR performance brand in the UK and Europe in with go-fast versions of its all-electric light hatch and SUV, the Corsa-e and Mokka-e .

OPC features also in the sporty Corsa-e

OPC would also rely on the brand’s typical visual features for an electric model. Sportier aprons and sills make the small car look more beefy. The air intakes already indicated on the basic model in our illustration are even more striking. A roof edge spoiler and a new radiator grille insert with a center bar in the OPC house color blue would be possible. Larger rims with their design, blue brake calipers and OPC logos dispel any doubt that this is a sports model. (This is how the Opel Corsa-e drives!)

Battery and performance features

The VXR siblings, however, appear to be setting an example for everyone not to go, with one publication claiming the pair will retain the same 100kW/260Nm front electric motor as their standard counterparts, mated to a lithium-ion battery car floors.

This is a significant departure from the previous Corsa VXR (below), which used a 1.6-litre turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine to send 153kW of power and 244Nm of torque to the front wheels via a six-speed manual transmission.

Despite a power deficit of around 50kW, the newly electrified Corsa-e VXR shouldn’t lag as far behind its predecessor as its paper specs suggest: the standard Corsa-e delivers 0-100km/h in 7.6 seconds versus the 6.8-second claim of the outgoing Corsa VXR.

The immediate transmission of engine torque from a standstill should also ensure faster acceleration times from 0 to 50 km/h.

According to Auto Express, the aggressive styling of the Corsa-e VXR and Mokka-e VXR is underpinned by a host of hidden upgrades, namely revised steering and suspension and retuned drive modes.
Speaking to the British newspaper about the lack of power upgrades for the VXR siblings – particularly in light of their main rivals, the Ford Fiesta ST and 147kW/290Nm Puma ST – Vauxhall managing director Stephen Norman noted: “This is a great opportunity, I would say, to have a car with a higher level of performance than anyone was expecting.

Price Opel Corsa-e

The price of the Corsa-e OPC before deducting the environmental bonus should be around 35,000 euros. (Opel Corsa-e with savings of up to 13,491 euros!) The counterpart to the Peugeot 208 PSE will probably also be in this region. If a Corsa-e OPC comes, it will probably be together with the Vauxhall brother, which will be launched in mid-. It would then be the last expansion stage before the big design. Here you can get your OPC faster: used Opel Corsa OPC with a 13,000 euro guarantee!
