Porsche 718 Boxster 2025: Price, consumption, picture, technical data.

The latest Porsche 718 Boxster is here. With the model and a host of changes comes the name change. The car will name the new Porsche car and use the label previously used for lightweight Porsche cars built between 1957 and 1962.

The name change comes with the Boxster now using a four-cylinder engine, and it has been announced that name will also be sued for the Cayman model once it is updated and receives its release date.

The Porsche Boxster model was first introduced in 1996. It was an entry-level mid-size sports car and the first roadster Porsche launched since the 550 Spyder. The car immediately attracted a lot of criticism as the car was a significant departure from the traditional Porsche look. Little did they know then that the Boxster would be Porsche’s greatest production car. Now, almost 20 years after its debut, it’s time for another refresh of the car.

The Porsche 718 Boxster manages to do the same thing as the 911 Carrera model, as both have swapped their naturally aspirated engines for a turbocharged engine. Porsche actually aims to reduce emissions rates and improve efficiency with this strategy, and for the most part, it seems to be working. This engine uses a flat-four configuration instead of the conventional flat-six previously used.

The Porsche 718 Boxster is more than just a design, as many changes have been made to the exterior design. In fact, most of the body panels have been changed, except for the trunk lid, convertible top and windshield, while everything else has been redesigned. The body panels seem familiar and are very similar to the previous car, but have made one more change compared to before.

The most obvious changes are the wider front end of the car, which also adds a new bumper section. There are the new side intakes with a wider and thinner design, which also makes the LED daytime running lights thinner. The fog lights are no longer integrated, but mounted as individual parts. The center grille, which is mounted below the license plate, has been changed, as it has been completely reshaped. Added to this are the new bi-xenon headlights and optional Porsche features with four-point daytime running lights.

The Porsche 718 Boxster Porsche doesn’t look too drastically different from the side. There are some noticeable details that are added here. For example, the wings on the sides are much more pronounced and the side skirts are more powerful. The doors no longer have handle recess covers and the intakes are a bit larger. There are also revised side mirrors and 9-inch standard wheels with 20-inch rollers as optional ones. The rear has additional changes with the new taillight design and the new trunk lid that greatly reshape the car.

The interior of the Porsche 718 Boxster also sees some changes. The car has a new dashboard design that has revised the air conditioning vents with an updated instrument cluster. The size and shape is the same, but the steering wheel has a new spoke design and a whole new center section. The model carries seminars with the design of the 911, but also looks much classier than before.

Everything else is carried over from the previous car and looks more or less similar to before. The technology in this case has been updated and has received many updates for the future car. You have the standard Porsche Communication Management, which includes audio interfaces, cell phone preparation and a 110-watt Sound Package Plus. You can expand it with a navigation module and voice control.

Engine specifications, 0-100 of Porsche 718 Boxster

The most radical change for the Porsche 718 Boxster was made to its engine, as the flat-six engine was dropped and replaced with a brand new flat-four engine. This will improve the car’s performance and improve the efficiency of Porsche models, which was the main goal when designing the engine. The base engine is the 2.0-liter turbo engine that produces 300 horsepower and 280 pound-feet of torque. The base model can jump to 0-62 mph in 4.9 seconds with a manual transmission or 4.7 seconds with a PDK. However, adding the Sport Chrono package will cut the time even further to 4.5 seconds.

The Boxster S version will use the turbocharged 2.5-liter flat-four engine. It will help it push to 350 horsepower and 309 pound-feet to the wheels. As a result, acceleration to 0-62 mph takes just 4.4 seconds with the manual shifter and 4.2 seconds with the PDK option, and the Sport Chrono package also loses 0.5 seconds. The top speed for this trim is 177 mph.

Release Date and Price – Porsche 718 Boxster

The latest Porsche 718 Boxster will make its debut at the end of this year, being released a little earlier than expected. As for the price, the base version is priced at €56,000 (Euro), while the Boxster S is priced at €68,400 (Euro).
