The latest Porsche 718 Boxster is here. With the model and a host of changes comes the name change. The car will name the new Porsche car and use the label previously used for lightweight Porsche cars built between 1957 and 1962.

The Porsche Boxster model was first introduced in 1996. It was an entry-level mid-size sports car and the first roadster Porsche launched since the 550 Spyder. The Porsche 718 Boxster is more than just a design, as many changes have been made to the exterior design. In fact, most of the body panels have been changed, except for the trunk lid, convertible top and windshield, while everything else has been redesigned. The most obvious changes are the wider front end of the car, which also adds a new bumper section.
