Porsche Macan 2025: Price, consumption, picture, technical data.

The new Porsche Macan will update the already acceptable offering. The latest news about this car is that it will be a bit fresher for the next season, but we don’t get a big increase in performance compared to the previous model. The minor changes here are good enough to keep the Macan stable in the market.

Macan

The Porsche Macan is essentially a smaller Cayenne , but offers almost the same interior space and strong and consistent performance. And best of all, you get it at a slightly cheaper price.

The current Porsche Macan received its last refresh in 2015 and quickly became the brand’s best-selling car. This time around, we get the performance-focused GTS version alongside the regular S and Turbo trims. The Macan is certainly a superior model to other vehicles in the segment and offers more than your standard SUV crossover.

When is the release date for the new Porsche Macan?

The latest Porsche Macan is set to make its debut at the end of the year. The model is labeled as a version, but everything points to an early release, and we can expect it to be available by the end of this year. The official release date will be announced soon.

What is the starting price?

As expected, the Porsche Macan will not be much more expensive than the current version of the car. It will start at €47,500 (Euro) for its base MSRP rate, the S trim is 54,400 and the Turbo is 76,000, while the GTS is priced at €67,200 (Euro).

What does it look like from the outside?

The exterior appearance of the Porsche Macan is absolutely outstanding. The best idea the designers had was to use the cues from a larger Cayenne model and apply them to a much smaller Macan. The angles look great and so do the curves. The massive strakes and front-end air intakes actually fit this design pretty well and the big headlights are there too.

In the side profile, the Macan most resembles the Cayenne. It has a very nice SUV crossover look and combines well with the overall design of the car. It even has a great rear with the positioning of the glass, giving it a sportier styling. The LED taillights also have a great wraparound design around the tailgate.

Inside Looks

The interior of the Porsche Macan is unmistakably a Porsche. With smooth buttons and switches, non-incomprehensible screens and a left-mounted ignition, it has everything you would expect from a Porsche car. There are dozens of buttons on the sides of the gear levers and a central screen that only operates the secondary controls.

The interior also has a simple black and grey scheme that gives us a really polished SUV look. Aluminum, carbon fiber or dark walnut trim is used. Additionally, piano black trim is also offered this time. Also present are leather upholstery and a leather key pouch.

Powertrain option

The Porsche Macan has a power advantage over other crossover SUVs. The engine in question is the turbocharged 2.0-liter inline-four, which produces 252 horsepower and 273 pound-feet of torque, available between 1,600 and 4,500 rpm. It comes standard with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic and all-wheel drive.

The S trim will use a more powerful 3.0-liter turbocharged V6 that makes 340 hp and 339 lb-ft of torque, and it will also come with a 7-speed dual-clutch, but the GTS trim offers the most powerful option with the help of the 3.0-liter V6 engine that can produce 360 hp.

0-62 mph per hour performance for the Porsche Macan

Depending on which trim of the Porsche Macan you choose, acceleration changes. The base has a performance of 6.1 seconds to reach 100 km per hour and a top speed of 142 mph. The base offering is already good, but the Turbo model performs the same at 5.2 seconds and has a top speed of 250 km / h. But the worst of all is the GTS, which accelerates from a standstill to 100 km per hour in 4.8 seconds and develops a top speed of 159 mph.

Fuel consumption

Considering the Porsche Macan’s performance, fuel economy is low, but that’s exactly what you get. EPA rates for the base engine are 20 mpg city, 25 highway, and 22 combined. The S and Turbo trims can consume 17/23/19, while the GTS has yet to be rated for now.

Dimensions and size

The new Porsche Macan will not grow compared to the previous model. The size is quite appropriate and fixed for this generation of Macan models. Since it is a refresh, the size will be maintained. The car is 184.7 cm long and the wheelbase is 110.5 cm. The height is 63.6 inches and the width is 76.1 inches. The interior volume is quite good at 96 cu ft, with the cargo space being 18 cu ft. Finally, the curb weight of the car is 4492 lb.

Safety rates

The new Porsche Macan will retain the safety features that were included on the previous model, which also means that the score will be the same. Standard features include airbags, stability control, all-wheel drive, a rearview camera, and lane departure warnings. Optional features include blind-spot monitors and adaptive cruise control.

What are the competing cars?

The Porsche Macan will face the same competing cars as before. But it will still keep its offering closer to the top. This model has very good styling and a great offering, so its position in the segment is still maintained. Other models you can look at are the Audi Q5 , BMW X3 M , Infiniti QX70 , Mercedes ML and Mercedes-Benz GLC Class .
