Porsche Panamera 2025: Luxurious and Powerful Sedan with the Spirit of a Sports Car
Overall Porsche Panamera is a four-door sports sedan with four passengers and a hatchback trunk. It was first presented to a wide audience back in 2009. Porsche is a Porsche. Wherever and however you express it, it is a Porsche. In this review we will say something about the overall impressions, technical data and price of this vehicle.
Panamera Exterior
For , Porsche Panamera exterior designers tried to make a larger version of Porsche with a resemblance to 911. The designer’s idea was to put the rear of the 911 on a much larger four-door vehicle. It’s not as pretty.
Someone would like it, but it’s too big for a sports car. It looks like an elephant, someone would say. But I don’t care. Nobody should care. When I look at it, I see another model from Porsche. Porsche has never done anything like it. The lines are similar to the classic Porsche, there are no rough edges and there is an automatic speed spoiler coming out of the rear when you “turbo” on the road.
This spoiler gives the car a completely different styling. You can choose to activate the automatic or lock it in the upper or lower position. But the feeling when you look at the rear view mirror and see it rising is epic.
inner space
I have already said that it looks very big from the outside and one can only imagine how big the interior of the Porsche Panamera is. For a sedan executive car, it has a lot of sport to offer.
The seats are very comfortable and made of high quality leather. The ventilated heater and the Porsche logo engraved on a head give it a premium look.
There are large glove compartments between the seats in both rows. Rear compartments are possible, front ones are fixed. The space between the back and front is quite large, even if the front seats are placed far back.
There are USB slots and power outlets everywhere that can be used. The dashboard is covered with high quality wood and aluminum and looks very expensive. On the dashboard there is a 7-inch touchscreen display (with analog buttons) where you can control all kinds of functions, including 3D navigation.
The sound system is BOSE high-end surround, one of the most used surround systems at any given time, with 16 amplifiers and a power of about 100W. The cargo space in a trunk is 15.2 cubic feet and the rear seats are 44.1 cubic feet, which is more than enough.
Engine from Porsche Panamera
The Porsche Panamera engine is really serious. There are a few versions that are the most striking:
Base – 3.6-liter
V6 engine with 310 horsepower and 295 lb/ft Turbo – 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 with 520 horsepower, 0-60 in 4 seconds with a top speed of 175 mph
Panamera SE Hybrid – 3.0-liter supercharged V-6 engine with 416 horsepower plus 95-horsepower electric motor that can be fully charged in about 20 miles of driving. Fuel economy is about 22 mpg in a city drive and 30 mpg on a highway.
Recently they started using the 3.0-liter twin-turbo V-6 version in Panamera S, Panamera 4S and Panamera 4S Executive. This engine has 420 horsepower and 384 pound/feet of torque.
Porsche Panamera gearbox
We expect this engine to become a new base engine for Porsche. The transmission for these engines is primarily the PDK seven-speed dual-clutch with manual paddle shift mode. For the E Hybrid, there is a special eight-speed Tiptronic S Auto with manual shifters on the steering wheel if you want to improve your driving experience. Traction Management AWD is included in base versions, with Anti-Skid Control (of course only for AWD versions) along with Park Assist, Porsche Communication Management, Cruise Control, etc.
Price
The price of the Porsche Panamera varies from €79,095 (Euro) for a basic version to €126,595 (Euro) for a fully equipped car. Judging by the handling, engine quality, fuel economy, luxury, overall quality of the whole car and the brand itself, it is a car for you if you have that money.
