Renault Kadjar 2025: Price, consumption, picture, technical data.

The latest images of the Renault Kadjar have emerged. The Kadjar is a stylish crossover vehicle based mainly on the platform of a Nissan Qashqai model. Since the Qashqai model has changed its appearance and was immensely redesigned back in 2014, it was the undisputed ruler in this segment.

So the Kadjar had to step up its game too and the result is the vehicle we have before us. The Renault Kadjar may not have the appeal of a Seat Ateca, but it’s still a well-behaved car.

There are some pretty straightforward benefits that Kadjar offers its users. The mix of desirability and quality is impossible to ignore, and practicality is also one of its biggest advantages. Moreover, its low running costs make it a sure favorite when it comes to family vehicles.

In fact, the initial release of the Renault Kadjar in 2015 initially came with a lot of disclaimer, mainly due to the failure of the previous model Koleos. However, the Kadjar turned out to be very different from that, thanks mainly to the partnership between Renault and Nissan. In fact, the Qashqai and Kadjar shared 60% of parts between them, although Renault claims it is much lower.

When is the release date of the Renault Kadjar planned?

We imagine the Renault Kadjar will be seen on the streets by the end of the year. We expect the release date to be somewhere towards the end of this year, so it will be fully ready for sale and use in .

What could be the price of the Renault Kadjar ?

Looking at things now, the Renault Kadjar will see a slight increase in price compared to the outgoing version. The current model has a base MSRP of €19,270, while the latest version will likely be a little over €20,000, with the highest trim costing around €30,000.

An exterior with character

One of the main advantages of the Renault Kadjar is that this car has more character than some of its competitors. Actually, it is a much more vibrant version of the car it is based on. It has a big and bold nose up front and a massive Renault logo right up front. Combine this with the swept-back headlights and we have some very striking styling from your Kadjar crossover.

The car also adopts a curvaceous body and has creases across the panels and helps the car to gain a very stylish stance, mainly thanks to its height. The added tail lamps also help to continue the model theme of the car. The model comes standard with 17-inch alloy wheels, but you can also purchase 19-inch diamond cut wheels that will help the car stand out even more.

Interior design and additions

The interior of the Renault Kadjar is pretty simple and down to earth. Apart from the digital dials, this is the only part that looks futuristic. The layout of the interior is the same as the Nissan Qashqai, which is expected from the rearranged climate buttons and the air vents working in the opposite direction. The quality is also at a very respectable level as it comes with soft-touch materials used for most of the interior but harder and bristlier plastic is used for the lower part of the interior. In general, although it looks rugged most of the time, it fits together very well and it all comes down very well.

Powertrain Offers and Choices

There are still three engine options for the latest Renault Kadjar . They will carry over the ones used from the last version and incorporate them here as well. The base version is a 1.2-liter TCe turbo petrol engine that can develop 128 hp with maximum pulling power from just 2,000 rpm. Secondly, there are two diesel options in the Kadjar, the 1.5-liter dCi with 109 hp and the 1.6-liter dCi with 128 hp.

Acceleration and top speed

The latest Renault Kadjar will have different 0-100 kmph performance depending on the engine type. Thus, the base version helps the car to do 0-100 kmph in 10.1 seconds and also helps it to reach a top speed of 119 mph. The 1.5-litre dCi diesel variant does 0-100 kmph in 11.7 seconds while the second 1.6-litre dCi does it faster and does 60 MPG in 10.4 seconds.

Fuel consumption characteristics

The latest Renault Kadjar has a very impressive fuel consumption. It is one of its advantages and will remain so with the version of the car. The most economical is the 1.5 dCi diesel engine, which gives us 74.3 mpg combined and CO2 emissions of 99 g/km. The 1.6-litre diesel is also pretty good and has measurements that say 65.7 mpg and 113 g/km CO2, but with the CVT it goes up to 62.8 mpg and 117 g/km and in all-wheel drive 58.8 mpg with 126 g/km CO2. The base engine version can produce 126 g/km CO2 and is still acceptable in this form.

Not as similar to the Qashqai as you would expect

It’s interesting that while the Renault Kadjar uses the same platform as the Nissan Qashqai , it doesn’t share the dimensions. The Kadjar is a little longer than the car it borrows the platform from, essentially measuring 4,449mm long and 1,836mm wide. But when you drive it, the car doesn’t feel any bigger than the Nissan. It also manages to offer decent rear seat space, but it’s nothing you could call special or class-leading. But the boot is very practical, offering 472 litres of volume, or 1,478 litres with the rear seats folded down.

Security

The Renault Kadjar also shares some parts with the Nissan Qashqai when it comes to safety. But the Kadjar has actually expanded on these and managed to achieve better results in terms of passenger safety. The Kadjar was tested by Euro NCAP in 2015 and immediately received a 5-star rating. We believe the stats will carry over to this version as well. The vehicle still offers lane departure warning and traffic sign recognition as standard, while autonomous emergency braking is available as an option.

Are there competing cars?

The Renault Kadjar will continue to compete in the crossover segment and will have the same kind of rivals. Although it is considered one of the class-leading cars here, they still need to move with the times and provide updates to keep up with other models. The cars the Kadjar will face include the Peugeot 3008 , Kia Sportage and Hyundai Tucson , but the current class favorite has to be the Seat Ateca.
