Škoda Citigo 2025: Price, consumption, picture, technical data.
The VW Group ‘s triplet of tiny hatchbacks – the nearly identical Volkswagen Up, Seat Mii and Škoda Citigo – is moving with the times. Now only the VW – traditionally the most expensive and even the best of the three – comes with a combustion engine. The other two are electric, or now, as Seat and Skoda struggle to reduce average CO2 emissions in the face of strict new EU rules.
Skoda Superb
Cheapest, of course, is the Skoda. It’s available in a pure SE specification that the others aren’t, costs from £17,455 (after a £3,000 government grant), making Skoda’s first electric car one of the cheapest electric cars you can buy in the UK. But in similar SE L trim, which gets the same kit as the e-Up and Mii Electric, it’s the same price as the Seat, and only around £400 cheaper than the VW.
Technical characteristics
The 36.8 kWh lithium-ion battery enables a range of up to 265 km in the WLTP cycle – meaning the CITIGOe iV is perfectly equipped for traffic in modern cities.
With a CCS (Combined Charging System) charging cable connected to a 40 kW DC fast charger, it can be charged to 80 percent in 1 hour. With a 7.2 kW AC wall box, the battery is charged to 80 percent in 4 hours 8 minutes, or with a 2.3 kW charging station to 12 percent 37 minutes.
design
The first fully electric ŠKODA differs significantly from the CITIGO models with combustion engines, especially at the front. The ŠKODA-typical grille is in the body color, the front bumper below has also been redesigned. The car is equipped with fog lights and LED daytime running lights as standard, the cornering function is optional.
With a length of just 3,597 mm and a width of 1,645 mm, the smallest ŠKODA also offers a spacious interior for four passengers and a boot volume of 250 l. The boot can easily be increased to 923 l by folding down the rear seats.
design
The front-wheel drive CITIGOe iV has an electric motor with an output of 61 kW. The maximum torque of 210 Nm (155 lb-ft) is available immediately, as is typical for electric motors. The car accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 12.5 seconds. The top speed is 130 km/h.
technology
Standard equipment includes electric windscreens, Climatronic, remote central locking, the Swing II radio and the Move & Fun smartphone docking station on the dashboard. With the Move & Fun app, a mobile phone can be used as an additional display for vehicle data, for media playback or as a navigation system.
In addition, the CITIGOe iV offers new mobile online services for the app, which enable remote access to the battery or air conditioning.
In addition, the CITIGOe iV is equipped with a lane assistant as standard and has front airbags as well as head and thorax airbags for the front seats.
