Skoda Enyaq iV 2025: Price, consumption, picture, technical data.
ŠKODA officially unveils the specifications and prototype photos of its first electric crossover, the Skoda Enyaq iV, which will be available to customers in several versions, including a sporty RS version.
Skoda Superb IV
Although the Citigoe iV will go down in company history as the first electric vehicle, the Skoda Enyaq iV will be the first model developed as an electric vehicle from the start. The electric vehicle will be based on the Volkswagen Group’s well-known modular MEB platform. The electric crossover will be available in different versions: with rear-wheel or all-wheel drive, with three different battery packs and five versions.
Battery Skoda Enyaq iV
The basic version of the Skoda Enyaq iV 50 has a 55 kWh battery, a 109 kW electric motor mounted on the rear axle and offers a power reserve of up to 340 kilometers (according to the WLTP cycle).
The next version of the Skoda Enyaq iV 60 with a 132 kW electric motor and a 62 kWh battery should have a range of up to 390 kilometers. The longest range of up to 500 kilometers is offered by the Skoda Enyaq iV 80 with an 82 kWh battery and a 150 kW electric motor.
The Skoda Enyaq iV will also receive two all-wheel drive versions, both with an 82 kWh battery and a second electric motor at the front next to the motor on the rear axle. The Skoda Enyaq iV 80X offers 195 kW, the sporty RS version 225 kW. The most dynamic version accelerates from a standstill to 100 km/h in 6.2 seconds and reaches a top speed of 180 km/h. Both all-wheel drive versions are said to have a maximum range of up to 460 kilometers. Depending on the battery size, owners can charge a battery with up to 11 kW (AC) in 6 to 8 hours and from 10 to 80% in just 40 minutes at 125 kW DC fast charging stations.
Technical characteristics
With a length of 4,685 mm, a height of 1,618 mm, a width of 1,877 mm and a wheelbase of 2,765 mm, the ENYAQ iV electric crossover will be slightly smaller than the KODA KODIAQ SUV. Thanks to the MEB platform, which houses the traction battery in the car floor, the interior offers maximum passenger space and the 585-litre luggage compartment proves that the car is really spacious.
Exterior of the new electric car
The appearance of the new electric crossover Skoda Enyaq iV is something in between. The designers wanted to make the electric car modern and stylish, while maintaining the recognizable design and individual features of the body. If you do not look into the details, then the new product can be confused with the Karoq and Kodiaq already presented on the market. An elongated body, a strict front end and a minimum of chrome elements. On the other hand, a relatively low ground clearance allows you to overcome curbs and small bumps in the city, but by no means unpaved dirt roads or impassable sections.
At the front, the new electric crossover Skoda Enyaq iV resembles the latest generation of the Skoda Octavia in many ways. Conical optics, large front grille and sporty bumper. Starting with the basic equipment of the Skoda Enyaq electric car, the optics will be completely LED. As the configuration increases, the manufacturer offers matrix optics with additional control systems (high and low beam, oncoming traffic detection, etc.). The lower part of the optics has been decorated with LED running lights.
The most interesting thing is that the manufacturer Skoda Enyaq iV came to a solution with a radiator grille. Often new electric cars simply do not have it, but then visibility deteriorates. Here in the Skoda Eniak, the radiator grille remained true to its function, supplying the engine compartment with a small amount of air, thereby cooling the electric motor and individual working elements.
Typically, the grille is glossy black with vertical slots and chrome edging. Optionally, the manufacturer offers to install LED backlighting, as well as highlight the company logo at the end of the hood. Nevertheless, there is a minus, for a complete set with a rear engine (on the rear axle), the grille will be in the form of a dummy and will play only a decorative role, and under the hood there is an additional luggage compartment.
