Skoda Vision Salon
The interior of Skoda Vision has a futuristic look. In front of the driver there is a virtual dashboard and a spectacular three-spoke multifunctional steering wheel with a slightly cut-off lower edge. In the upper part of the central dashboard, a “magic crystal” is installed, which serves as a “guide” to the digital world. Directly below it is a wide display of the multimedia information complex.
Technical characteristics
Skoda Vision received a 1.5-liter 4-cylinder turbo petrol engine with 150 “horses” and a maximum torque of 250 Nm. Its partner is a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. It is expected that the car will take about 8.7 seconds to accelerate from 0 to 100 km / h, and its maximum speed will reach 195 km / h. It is a little disappointing that the car is offered exclusively with front-wheel drive, while all-wheel drive cannot be installed even for an additional charge.
The Vision is based on the proprietary “trolley” MQB A0 developed by the VW Group. The steering is equipped with an electric booster, and the braking system is equipped with disc brakes. However, it is very likely that the rear wheels of the production model will be equipped with drum brakes.
